[2-Piece] Top-75 Decks

Unread post by theCapraAegagrus »

I don't have a list like this anywhere, and I want to keep track of these personally, because every now and then I like to replay some decks in euchre/poker with my favorite ones. Sometimes I end up scrambling out the door and mid-evening remember a different deck that I would've preferred to bring. I plan on expanding this list originally up to 50, and at some point, may expand as far as 100.

I'm gonna steal some (not all) great ideas/rules from Roope's list topic:

All decks are in my possession. Not "to-be-acquired".
Different colors of the same design will be considered as 1 whole.
Same-theme designs (all 4 Seasons decks) will be considered a whole, but decks like No. 17 and Le Chat Rouge will be considered separate.

List as of 2018/06/01:

1. Federal 52 (Jackson Robinson/Kings Wild)
2. 2015 52+ Joker Club Deck (Paul Carpenter/Encarded)
3. Whispering Imps (Mark Stutzman/Chris Chelko)

Damn, I haven't updated this in a year?

I'll have to get to it.

I understand it will change. However, there is something to be said for not putting a deck on the list, or deliberately keeping it lower initially, to see if it passes the test of time. Some decks wow us initially, but fade as other decks come on the market. Those that continue to shine are the ones we should put on our all time best lists. Thanks though for taking the time to put a list together. Frankly, it is not an easy task, for me at least.
