Paisley is the most traditional and beautiful of patterns. The roots of the instantly recognizable Paisley pattern design may surprise a lot of people. Resembling a twisted teardrop, the kidney-shaped paisley is of Iranian and Indian origin, but its western name derives from the town of Paisley, in West Scotland, a center for textiles where paisley designs were produced.

The aces look beautiful and if he didn't have minimalist courts, I'd be in. I just don't like the court cards. Looks like this is a brand new KS account, first created, backed none and there are no EBs for this deck. I hope it's basic decks from USPCC b/c the funding goal of 11000 seems a little low.
Feeding the addiction one deck at a time.

I`m in total agreement with everyone else. If it wasn`t for the courts i`d be jumpin all over these, one way back i don`t mind, and the tuck is well Pukka.
Actually gonna grab one and see what happens

Courts turn me off, too. Think of the incredible paisley backgrounds you could do with figurative courts. But that's not my main complaint. This deck just isn't paisley enough, even on the aces. You almost have to seek the paisley out.

invited the designer to join us - told HER about the 1 way back design and this is what she said....
Thank you so much for your feedback. What you say absolutely makes sense. I'll work on it to see how I can revise it without really changing the design...

For crying out loud, PUT SOME COLOR IN THE PAISLEY PATTERNS!

It won't cost anything extra, so make those patterns pop with color!

Aces, two thumbs up!

Courts, two thumbs down! And is it just me, or do the Queens have their crowns on the bottom of their "Q" ?

Jokers, two thumbs down!

And unlike when I'm usually saying, "Show us the Courts," I'm now having to say, "Show us the numbers!"

Hello everyone,

I want to take a moment and thank you all for your feedback. This is my first deck so I appreciate the feedback. I agree with most of the feedback shared here. However I do not want to totally change the design at this point. It's not fair to the current backers nor I may have the time to ensure a quality finish. I will def. keep everything shared here in mind.

I did however make one change (which is being finalized) and that is the two way design for the back. I'm making it a 4-way mirror image. I am also posting the number cards soon. There is not much change there other than the borders you see in other cards, as well as a very minor adjustments to fit the border design. Thanx again for all your feedback and support.

I'm a dude, he's a dude, she's a dude, we all are dudes hey!

Anyways...I always like courts to be as people/figures. Imperial was acceptable because the faberge eggs were nice, I agree that the actual letters as courts don't look bad. I'll have to see the number cards to determine if I pledge or not.

@WillHart CthulhuWho1 - Making a 4 way mirror design for the back of card is a good idea. It's now a playable deck. It's for the masses to decide if they want your deck or not. It's nice to see you have thick skin. Keep at it. People here don't hold their punches back which is what we are all about...

from Negin Shamlou
I realized that I did not have a 2-way design for the back of the cards. This would have caused different looking back when cards would get shuffled. This has now been fixed and the back is a 4-way mirror image. The image has been updated.

Don't stop your feedback .... Thank you :)

When asked about more color to the back design she said...
Hey Magic. I gave that idea of a red center a shot (multiple versions), but they all would take away something from the feel of the cards. I will keep the black X. Thank you again for you feedback.
When asked about a thinner border she said...
Thank you Bryan. I have considered thinner border, but it didn't have the look I was hoping for. I'll still play with the idea and let you guys know if go with a thinner border.
Now excuse me whilst I go and post this same reply at The Discourse!

Hiya Negin.
Why Two double back cards ? How about one double back and a Gaff card . or One double back and an extra joker. or even a card that advertises your website.

Sounds like a good opportunity to get the backers involved ,In your next update ask for backers comments and then choose the most popular suggestion.

@NeginGraphix - Dove in a bit deeper in your Kickstarter. You have a good 1 min video. Hell, you can add another 1 min if you wanted too. I would suggest a 30 sec video of you saying "Hey, these are my cards". Don't worry, ppl don't normally watch the videos. Your rewards are very good. I would have made the uncut sheet a little more available. I'm starting to dig your cards. There are so many improvements to make this a great deck. First, I like your jokers. Just remember to have a Black and Red joker. Your showing a black joker. Keep the design, just change the color of the index. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joker_(playing_card)

Let me see #1 or #2. MagikFingerz give me some guidance here. Which one would you chose? Just joking, of course we want #1. In fact, it looks like you can extend a little into no man's land on the corners if you wanted too. If you added a little symbolism in the deck, it would be a better deck...

Symbolism meaning. Keep the crowns for the Kings, Queens, and Jacks. I like them, but put a sword on its side going through the crown here for the KoH.

For the KoS and KoC need a sword in this area, but the KoC is different it needs a paisley ORB...

And then lastly, an Axe on the KoD pointing up. This will distinguish the Kings.

The Queens are different. First you need a scepter here for the QoS.

The other Queens need Paisley flowers in the "Queen" area. You could even out stretch out of this area to show the flowers on either the Right or Left.

Note: the flowers are in these areas.

QoH - Right side

QoD - Left side

QoC - Left side

Remember the paisley orb for the KoC

Thank you so much for your in depth review of the cards. I will consider many thing you suggested. This is my first deck and I will absorb all ideas to make a perfect deck - without obviously ending up with a totally different design ;)

I prefer a better design. I really like Paisley but I don't think this deck is at all doing it justice. Shame.

These are the first decks with the sword going through the KoH head. Well, to me it looks more like an icepick, but the Jacks are interesting. You can have a dagger with 3 of the Jacks. They were made by C. Hewson in 1680. I see JoS with a spear and dagger. JoH with an axe and maybe a sword or it that a walking stick. If so, he has 3 weapons Axe, Dagger, walking stick. JoC with a arrow. JoD with an axe and dagger. So many options with the Jacks.

Notice the KoC has the orb. It's very important. You can make a paisley orb right? Try to hide some of the symbolism...

Keep your daggers, but put them here. JoS would be Dagger/ Spear, JoH would be Axe/ Dagger, JoC would be Bow/ Arrow, JoD would be Axe/ Dagger. Keep it simple.

Over 95% voted for the thinner border... I have also made changes to the Jokers (based on multiple feedback and request) to have two different Jokers (a black and red...
Here is the image :) Thanx for all the feedback and support
