I'm good with all of this, except the smirking King of Spades. I get that it's his moustache, but he looks like he's smirking and it's out of place with the rest of the court cards. Enough to turn me off of the entire deck.

Courts and pips very cool but the tuck and back really suck. The aces will look ok without the lines in the middle.

I also really like the pips and courts but the backs and tuck pale in comparison.

The back design and tuck are soooo boring..... kills it for me to be a backer.

NOVA Playing Cards - Live now on Kickstarter!
Hi all,
I'm a design student that spent his summer making a deck of cards and now they're on Kickstarter! It just passed 50% funding and I'm getting more and more exited about my deck becoming a reality. Here's a link to the project if you want to check it out:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ad ... ref=9qxsl0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Many thanks for your time and my apologies for the shameless self-promotion,
Adam

Thank you Pete, I hadn't realised! I'm sorry to hear that people are not keen on my back and tuck designs. I stand by my designs though since I was going for more of a minimal stripped-back approach for the deck and didn't want these designs to be 'too much' on the eye. I do appreciate the feedback though, and will bear it in mind if I ever make any more decks in the future!
