EPCC name on pull tab strip!

Unread post by pstaehlin »

Is it just me or does this bug the heck out of anyone else? This darn pull tab strip on my new deck of Archurian playing cards. "Expert Playing Card Co." all over!

It is very much in your face - more so on a plain tuck like this one...

I bet the end of it is still no easier to find though!

I don't find the branding on the pull strip annoying; USPCC has been doing it for a little while on some of their decks. What *does* bother me is that these new tear strips are just as useless as the ones found on most USPCC decks. It used to be that the pull strips on EPCC and LPCC decks were typically very easy to find and easy to pull open. Not these guys. As a marketing device, associating one's brand with something that is difficult, tedious, and obnoxious might not be something I'd choose to incorporate with my packaging.

.... difficult, tedious and obnoxious is what some people are greatly remunerated for nowadays. It is *pathetic*, they know, but they are sersly appreciative to the consequences across th'board.
DUMBING DOWN.
Go fig.
O, I beg of you your comprehensions,
yet laugh at your contempts ....
my only competition is with myselves.

But Lèse-majesté, especially >Normans, natch.

Is jarnstill the Ars of the Hors Nebulous ?
Neigh .... the Effluxor of the Omniverse ??
