Gotta say I don't hate this. My one complaint is that I wish the pips were bigger but that's not enough to stop me from pledging $11 for a Bicycle-branded deck, shipped. I am concerned about the tuck though- the rendering makes it look embossed but there's no mention of it in the description. The rendering also makes it look gold-foiled but all that's written about this is "We drenched the tuck case in gold" so who knows what that means. I hope some clarification can occur here but either way, I'm in for $11. Seems worth the risk for me.

It is innovative enough for me to be in as well. I am not a huge fan of black stock and the art is okay and at least custom face cards, pips and such. They made an effort to bring to market a custom deck. The color is really muted next to the gold. As for foil, if it doesn't say "foil", I assume it is not foil. Heck, if it doesn't say "metalic ink", I will assume it isn't metalic ink either. All those are extras that cost the creator to put in, and I would think they would market all the extras that they are paying for to get more backers. Given their emphasis on gold, this would really wow with foil and an embossed tuck. I hope they go for it, but that might be tough with a low print run at USPCC in this price range.

When I see some of the other Kickstarter decks coming out, I just have to sigh and shake my head.

Looks pretty good. If this comes out well (with foiled tuck box etc.) I might get one after market. Maybebaby.

I like the back design on this deck. I don’t really like black stock though.

I only like the front of the tuck, that's it. If at least, it'll look similar to Bicycle Aurora, that'll be cool.

Ugh, the courts are so chunky you can't see the gladiator in my opinion.

This is a CPC deck so you know it won't be gold foiled or embossed. Did they ever foil or emboss a tuck...doubt it but could be wrong.
Move on, nothing to see here.

3 Bicycle decks Aurora, Elegance (green and black tucks) and Collectors (white/ brown) were embossed. Those the only ones I have that I can think of that were embossed. There's more than that.

I do kind of like this deck, it's definitely a good effort, it's too close to christmas though I can't back it with empty pockets. My only complaint is the black stock, the contrast is too harsh, even the red from the tuck would work better.

Way too cluttered for my own tastes. I disliked the Aurelian deck by E for that same reason. That's too bad, the theme is cool!
