Re: Thirdway Industries - Lunatica -- LIVE on KS

Unread post by Thirdway Industries »

@serubi @adonael @brandon - thank you guys :-)

Yes, Lunatica should be nice as Eva - I'm keeping the same producers (USPCC/Clove St/Gamblers). I have saw just samples of holographic foils so far...and they're incredible! If they are good as I hope, the limited editions will be stunning.

The holofoil I'll use on interior will be different than the one I'll use on front: I'll use holo-silver on front and holo-blue and holo-violet on inner - hopefully it will be crazy.

The campaign is almost over - as always I won't allow preorders on limited items and there won't be BackerKit.
Lunatica have a really aggressive price on Kickstarter, compared to my other projects - especially on higher tiers - all those "early prices" will expire when the campaign will be closed. If you are on the fence, get them now ;-)

I'm preparing some suprises for all Lunatica backers :-)

There will be a terrific closing party :ugdance:

Thank you for the awesome support!!!

Hello UC!

Lunatica is going well - coins are produced (pic below) and cards are being produced. I hope to have great news soon!

Meanwhile, there is a Cyber Monday sale on Lunatica - only for today, I'm allowing preorder of coins and limited edition, with a good discount (less than KS, but good, I hope). If you're interested, here is the link >> http://www.thirdwayindustries.com/produ ... _order=asc" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Wow the color really pops, looks amazing!

Cant wait to get my copy, hopefully it arrives before Delirium finishes funding so I can see a coin first hand and decide whether to back for another one or not.

Hello UC!

Lunatica shipping started, I think that someone here should already recieved it :-)
I am really happy about how the decks turned, Neon ink is crazy - let me know what do you think too!

I've posted a lot of pics on my latest update and also on my site (looks into the product pages, there are dozen of high res pics) > http://www.thirdwayindustries.com/produ ... /lunatica/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

As always, thank you for the awesome support!

I did indeed receive my decks the other day. Also a coin, which was much heavier than I expected, very cool.

As usual with your decks the queens are my favorite part and they are fantastic.

Definitely stands out with its bright color next to other decks in my collection the boxes for the standard editions really feel "bright" on the shelf for lack of a better word.

The limited editions have more of a "normal" feel from a distance next to your other decks (Which is not a bad thing as your other decks look badass) but the holo foil is amazing when you look up close.

All around another A+ deck in my opinion.

@Jufin

Haha yes my coins are heavy, and Lunatica standard editions are really bright - I also think that neon ink pop because it's an "alien color" - we're not so used to see those colors around.
I bet that you can spot every Lunatica there:

Thank you for the detailed feedback and support!

@Intlgrrl

Thank you for the kind feedback and the awesome support! =)

Can't wait that Lunatica will arrive to everyone (it should be almost there, since we completed the shipping around 2 weeks ago).

Never mind the Lunatica, is that the Delirium Prisms burning out our retinas on the top shelf there? Good lord.

For your next deck you should use pastels only :P

Ahah true - the lamp light hits the Delirium Prism directly and made them shine a lot.
With "normal" light, is a little less shiny!

I don't know about pastels colors - I usually prefer strong and vibrant ones - I prefer bold design choices hehe :-)
I used pastels only on Omnia: the Golden Age colors backgrounds so far.

@Sergio - Thank you!

Great pic btw - I need to buy a blacklight. This "hidden" feature of the deck made me very happy. It's totally unintentional :uggrin:

Another great deck review. I need to watch it a few more times to soak up the details.

The way you handle the deck though. It is a wonder your wife doesn’t get jealous.

My Lunatica Chimera and Phoenix arrived today.
I am totally blown away by them
I took some pics of the Phoenix but will only attach 3 here as with just my phone, I cannot do them justice.
I really don't think the phone camera (although new) could handle the BRIGHTNESS of the orange backs under UV

I have watched all the reviews and they do not do the UV brightness justice either
I have several UV decks but these are simply in another league altogether - and to think that it was unintentional and Gio didn't even realize they had this quality until feedback after their release
With or without UV they are dazzling cards and tucks (tucks are not UV ink)

Here is the tuck in normal light
The extra joker under UV
The backs under UV

That back pic is particularly lame - under UV you seriously need sunglasses to be able to look at it - it is that BRIGHT

the orange tuck is one of gios best imo. loving orange doesnt help but i love the design. i have mentioned to him several times i wish he would go back to/do more tucks with the characters on them like this and odissea instead if just geometric designs. this is one of my favorites of all of the 500+ unique decks i have.

Thank you! I should do something else similar to Lunatica, I love this style as well.

FYI the new Fantasma is very focused on neon stuff, on the cards, but also on the box!

UV torches are not all the same. This is the same extra card from above but this time using a different torch (one that came with a Chris Cards Glow set)
I like this one better as it highlights phoenix without making the background purple

Can somebody confirm that my Lunatica images in a couple of posts on this page are of a good/decent quality.
The reason I ask is that I was messaging family today with family pics that I had also taken on my phone and saved to One Drive (in order to share them) and the feedback I got from family that do not have/use One Drive, was that they were blurry.
I don't want to be posting blurry images on the forum and will find an alternative if that is the case. Cheers
