I'm interested in buy back all of the Sherlock Holmes decks please sir. Greetings sir, I may need someone else to vouch for you just so I know that you are not some unknown weirdo off the street. Also, may I interest you in some Ellusionist decks? Shipping from the States, I assume? ;) Shipping fro...

Good price on that Scarlett Tally-Ho Gold Edition. 52+ Joker Club seems a little steep (listings on eBay seem to agree with you, though). That's a crap-ton of Infinity V1 decks. I may have to snag some off of you soon (no budget ATM)... Yeah, I set a few bricks aside when we first released them, an...

Spotted this thread, might as well contribute my own experience with Chris Dickson: Back in January 2016 we were supposed to make a deal when CARC had the offer of getting a Microsoft deck for free with purchases of $500. Chris had put out the offer in a Facebook group that he'd be willing to pay $3...

Re: How to save on shipping? Which shipping consolidator ?

If this is referring to your earlier post about customs forms, it's up to you to fill out the customs declaration correctly as you do that online. They also have the option to remove invoices, so I guess those two steps could be creatively used so to speak. I've just filled them out correctly myself...

Re: Hats off to Paul Carpenter on saying it like it is

My advice is always to get what you like. Not what others are talking about is the best, what is popular, what is called rare or whatever. Just go with what you like. Art, design and taste is debatable and subjective, so just go with what catches your eye. Yes, you'll miss out on some that turn into...

Re: How to save on shipping? Which shipping consolidator ?

Figured I'd contribute to this thread as I have some experience of this as well. I've used Shipito in the past. https://www.shipito.com/en/shipito-pricing For me it works great to use the annual option. I'm usually not in a rush so I bundle things up over several months and ship it all home in one g...

I don't understand. Why are you guys guessing? It's right there in the topic. Mike is opening a convenience store.

Re: Erdnase x Madison (Ellusionist)

8 hour project based on someone else's work and name! Erdnase unfortunately couldn't find time in his schedule to do a project like this. He was very busy being dead. This isn't the EATCT book straight up in video format, it is Madison's own adaption and modifications on sleights and moves. The for...

Re: Erdnase x Madison (Ellusionist)

I love how DM says "this will be my last major project" yet has done Hellions. C'mon, Rick- you should know better! This is E we're talking about- the devil's in the details. The keyword is "major" project. I wouldn't be surprised if DM came out with 43 more decks at 5,000 print...

Re: Kings Wild Project, Arthurian -- Live on KS

As I tend to always go through any existing updates for a project I pledge (perhaps a bit overzealous, but it lets me stay as updated as possible) the scenarios some of you mention did not cross my mind. They hold merit of course, and yes the campaign page could have been updated about it. It would'...

Re: Kings Wild Project, Arthurian -- Live on KS

One can state the opinion that making display decks available to everyone feels unfair to Camelot edition backers without letting it devolve into claims about how it was done in a sketchy way or last minute when it clearly was not. You are speculating as much as the rest of us. Was it literally don...

Re: Kings Wild Project, Arthurian -- Live on KS

If discussions could be kept at a more reasonable and less hyperbole level everyone involved would benefit. While everything else you said may be right, until Jackson actually communicates with us here, our discussions can be as "unreasonable" or "hyperbolic" as we want. Because...

Re: Kings Wild Project, Arthurian -- Live on KS

I can't really even see how the display decks and the actual Camelot editions can be comparable. One is a simple, white tuck with black text on it and nothing else. The other is a proper tuck case similar (but not identical) to the Escalibur edition, and on top of that, an actual extra case that is ...

Re: So.. is General for cards or not?

I think splitting them up, or placing all card related threads in the New and Custom (but perhaps change the name then) would work well and make it a bit easier. Right now the General section feels a bit lost and forgotten at the bottom and I think the relative lack of posts in there could be becaus...

Re: Marquis Playing Cards by Brendan Hong now live

Some artists aim for a broad range and different styles, other work on creating a specific signature style. Brendan falls into the latter, and with it comes pros and cons. For those who appreciate that particular voice it's always a treat to see, but it limits the potential customer base of course. ...

Re: Kings Wild Project, Arthurian -- Live on KS

My wish here is simply that we don't see people getting kicked off of projects for stating valid criticisms. I see where you're coming from here, and I believe this will be a self-cleansing issue if ever it were to happen with any creator and project. If a creator were to kick backers off of their ...

So.. is General for cards or not?

Hey guys, I don't know if I'm alone here, but it feels quite hard to know where to place a thread about cards but not about a certain project or release. At times I've seen those being directed to the General section (which I thought was meant for things that aren't card related?), and at other time...

Re: Kings Wild Project, Arthurian -- Live on KS

That said, I do think he's wrong, unless you're actually disrupting the project in some meaningful way, that's a harmful type of censorship. Everything I've heard you complain about in Legal Tender has been valid and JR needs to hear it. If he keeps it up and keeps silencing any criticism, his work...
