Re: Blind Tiger NPCCD 2022

I'm in that camp. The last reported (that I've seen) contact from Alex appears to have been mid-January. I and others have occasionally reached out, to no avail. I have absolutely the fullest confidence that if he can fulfill, he will. But, I'm becoming concerned the extent to which he is/will be in...

Gotta say, if there's a future edition that has a rich purple back or a deep green, I'd slurp those up in a heartbeat!

Hey, everyone. Sold KG a few decks, and coming to an agreement and the transaction itself were as smooth as you could possibly want. Would (likely will, at some point!) definitely buy/sell from/to KG again in the future!

Re: Honeybee Workers Edition from Penguin

I must agree with Honeybee above that the pink is a shade pricy for a variant of a "worker" deck. And, when a gilded version becomes available, I'm guessing that'll push the price pretty hard. Nonetheless. Love this entire series, love the fact that the workers are, pink notwithstanding, a...

I enjoy the occasional non-traditional shaped decks, and Uusi's round deck and the 17th Kingdom are among the best of the non-traditional shaped decks I've ever seen. (I also love mini-decks and giant decks, but I admit I'm kind of a weirdo.) That said, two things leap out at me regarding this proje...

Re: Space Suits by Meadowlark (ill. Russ Gray)

I received my Space Suits decks today! I only pledged the simple 2-deck set. Surprised there isn't more delivery notices here, let alone shipping notices from last week. And, what's the verdict? Did you open them? Are they as tasty as the previous Meadowlarks? (I didn't back this particular project...

I totally agree with everyone who says they are exasperated with new variants, excited about the "Archaic" version being planned for next year, etc., etc. BUT, I am nonetheless very excited by this new round of decks, and I'll likely also pick up one set of the Mordor variants, as well. An...

My first thought leapt immediately to Rick Davidson's Origins decks. Regardless and either way, 52+J has always shown great taste in designers and designs for the club decks. I'm very much looking forward to this year's entry.

You managed some very nice fans for those last two pictures as well. I have tried and it is not that easy to get all the cards that perfect after setting the cards down. Would you say you're a fan of his fans? Someone should write a story about his love of those fans. It would be fan fan's fan fic.

Wasn't he meaning foil and gilding (as opposed to either / or)?

I do recall being a little disappointed that Luminosity wasn't as shiny as so many other decks -- even other Black Ink decks. Glad he's revisiting this one, although I'm not sure yet if I'll be revisiting it, as well. Hmmm.

Re: Tragoedia Macbethi Playing Cards - Experience the Tragedy of Macbeth

I know this has been discussed before and you are resistant to doing it, but I do think you can lower the minimum needed to successfully fund not only by going with a less expensive but still excellent manufacturer like WJPC or Legends, but also you could consider just going with the limited edition...

It's possible there wasn't very much discussion here because Alex didn't even drop by here to mention that voting was open. I'm sure someone else probably did, but I know *I* missed any opportunity to nominate or vote, so there wasn't really much to discuss. For me. YMMV. I agree with your analogy a...

CDtC is so freakin' unique and so amazingly good.
