Card Mafia is a brand of playing cards known for their elaborate tuckbox designs. It is owned by Kevin Yu, a playing cards enthusiast from Toronto, Canada - who also happened to be the owner of Riffle Shuffle Playing Cards, a big production house of playing cards and the fulfiller of Organic Playing Cards. The roots of Card Mafia can be traced back to Kevin Yu's time in Boccopo Playing Cards - he designed the celestial body series: Luna Moon Playing Cards (Blue and Purple) - Helius Sun Playing Cards (Red) - Esther Star Playing Cards (Green) along with the duo Parasol Tree decks: Noble and Dark Phoenix Playing Cards. These decks were the progenitor designs for all of the decks made by Card Mafia as soon as it is established in 2020. The tuckbox features laser cut and laser engraved cardstock pieces complete with metallic hot stamps and colored ink. Some of the boxes included a built-in electrical circuit that lits up the LED lights on the box. There is a set of magnets included on the box to provide closure of the decks. All of these components are hand assembled. Most of the cards are printed by Taiwan Playing Cards Company, while a few are printed by United States Playing Cards Company and Make Playing Cards.
Card Mafia Series
Currently, there are three main series done by Card Mafia. It is based on it's webstore categorization.
- Arsenal - The series is based on the 12 Greek Gods and Goddesses of the Olympians, Greek deities that resides on top of Mt. Olympus. There will be 10 or 12 decks in the series. Each deck imbues a weapon carried by the gods or goddessess. The design of the cards is a fusion between cyber-techno-punk with the Greek mythology. The courts present all the 12 Olympian deities, adorned in the armour or clothes holding their respective weapons. The Jokers present the deity in which the weapon is associated with. Each deck comes in the Standard and Deluxe edition.
- Standard Edition - It features a bordered back with white background on the face - tuckbox is standard size box in premium matte stock with foils and embossing.
- Deluxe Edition - It features a full bleed back with black background on the face - tuckbox is an elaborate fanning box with laser engraved and laser cutted premium German matte paper stock with magnetic lids.
- Trident - Triple-pronged weapon held by Poseidon, god of the sea.
- Sword - Powerful long bladed weapon held by Ares, god of war.
- Shield - Large protective handheld protection weapon held by Athena, goddess of wisdom.
- Arrow - Strong bow with blazing set of arrows held by Apollo, god of the sun.
- Sickle - Staff with crescent-shaped blade held by Demeter, goddess of agriculture.
- Axe - Heavy yet big double-sided circular blade held by Hephaestus, god of craftsmanship.
- Thunder - Electrifying organic spears powered by lightning held by Zeus, god of thunder.

- Marvel - The series explores the mighty universe of superheroes by Marvel, proudly owned by Disney. Each deck will feature an iconic hero within the Marvel Universe. The design of the cards is based on the chosen superhero. The courts present a different illustration of the hero on the deck, or it can be a collection with the other superheroes, or it can be a set of characters within that hero's storyline. Majority of the decks in the series featured an elaborate fanning tuckbox made of laser engraved and laser cutted premium matte paper stock with embossing and foiling complete with magnetic lids and built-in LED lights (batteries can be replaced with careful maintenance). All of the decks within this series is officially licensed by Disney - on the bottom of the tuck, there is the anti-counterfeit hologram sticker to prooved the authenticity.
- Iron Man - Playboy billionaire Tony Stark who owns the Stark Industries, the leading company of advanced technological inventions. He dons a mechanized iron armour suit that is powered by an Arc-Reactor. The Iron Man models have many varieties.
- MK85 - Nano-technological iron suit and the very final model of Iron Man worn in "Avengers: Endgame"
- MK50 - Very first iron suit that uses nano-technology, worn in "Avengers: Infinity War"
- MK1 - The base model of all the upcoming models, made of scrap metals, the suit is worn as a mean to escape the clutches of Ten Rings organization in "Iron Man"
- MK33 - Silver Centurion, one of the Iron Legion models that is controlled by remote connection to help fight Extremis soldiers, and it ended with self-destruct in "Iron Man 3". It is known for it's similarities with the previous Iron Man model, but the gold color is replaced with silver.
- MK21 - Midas, one of the Iron Legion models that is controlled by remote connection to help fight Extremis soldiers, and it ended with self-destruct in "Iron Man 3". The shiniest of them all, this model is completely covered in gold.
- Captain America - WWII soldier who got imbued with superhuman soldier serum, creating the world's first superhero. Having slept on ice for 70 years, Steve Rogers awaken in a world where his star-spangled suit and circular shield weapon is needed.
- Spider-Man - A smart yet naive teenageer from Queens who got bitten by a genetically engineered spider that results him to gain superpowers. The death of his uncle Ben becomes his wake up call that "with great powers comes great responsibilities". He wears the tight spandex suit / nano-tech mechanized suit that resembles a spider. He has multiple suits throughout his action-packed story:
- Main - The classic tight spandex outfit in vibrant red and black as seen in "Spiderman: Far From Home".
- Black & Gold - The incognito mode, worn during a secret ops action fighting the Elementals with Mysterior in "Spiderman: Far From Home"
- Iron Spider - A metal suit made of nano-tech, gifted by Tony Stark when Peter joins the Avengers to fight against Thanos in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame" [DISCLAIMER: the color scheme chosen is the one based in the comics]
- Miles Morales - The blackest Spidey with black with red accents suit. He is the Afro-American version of Spidey, has the similar backstory of how the superpowers get to him. Miles special ability is his ability to camoflage and produce electrical discharges. He is the main character for "Spiderman Animation Trilogy" and also appears in Spider-Man games in PS5.
- Thor - Norse god of thunder from Asgard. He holds the magical hammer of Mjolnir, and later the Stormbreaker. He has the power to control thunder at his will. He dons the might armor summon by the magic of Asgardian, two different suits design.
- Thor - The outfit is black with metallic pads and during times when he handles Mjolnir, as seen in "Infinity Saga" movies
- Thor Love and Thunder - The outfit is emblazoned with gold and sapphire and during times when he handles Stormbreaker, as seen in "Multiverse Saga" movie.
- Doctor Strange - Former neurosurgeon who losts his hands in a car crash. In seek of healing, he found Kamar Taj and learn the mystical wonders of the mystic arts. He excels to become a Sorcerer and has become the protector of Earth from supernatural forces with powerful magic.
- Black Panther - The king of a very advanced country in Africa, Wakanda. The city flourished from the vibranium meteorite that crashed long time ago. King T'Challa is imbued with superstrenght, superspeed, and super insinct thanks to a plant imbued by the magical properties of the meteorite.
- Avengers - A group of remarkable people, a teamup of superheroes to fight the battles that others couldn't. Dubbed as "Earth's Mightiest Heroes", the Avengers group is the planet's first line of defense against the most powerful threats in the universe. There are 6 initial members: Captain America - Iron Man - Thor - Hulk - Black Widow - Hawkeye, and as time goes by, more superheroes joined the team.

- Smoke and Mirror - The ever popular cardistry deck series created by the Buck Twins and the fathers of modern cardistry, Dan and Dave Buck. Almost 10 years after the release of V7 Carbon (after a few collaborations with the other hype cardistry brands), the series is revived with the modern standards of playing cards. V8 is based off the design of OG Smoke and Mirror v3, and later V9 is based off the design of OG Smoke and Mirror v4-7. Each color has the Standard Edition and the Deluxe Edition. The Standard Edition features tuckbox made of premium matte stock with embossing. The Deluxe Edition features tuckbox made by Card Mafia: V8 features a telescopic box with magnetic lid, while V9 features an oversized swivel box - both features hidden Dan and Dave signature done in metallic foil.

It tells a story about a band of pirates who is sailing across the oceans in search of the world's greatest treasure left by the Pirate King. The main character is Monkey D. Luffy, a naive young man who wishes to be the next Pirate King. He formed the "Straw Hat Pirates", based on the straw hat given by Luffy's father figure. There are 9 members of this pirate band - Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Nami, Ussop, Sanji, Tony Tony Chopper, Nico Robin, Franky, Brook. Each of them possessed a superpower thank to the Devil's Fruit, although they won't be able to swim. Later, Jinbei joins the Straw Hats Pirates (he might have his deck soon).
- Demon - Based on the malevolent creatures that lurks from Hell, they have been often associated with the nocturnal animals like the bat. The tuck box is crafted with excellent innovation, designed to be shape-shifting which enabling the box to change into many forms! There are two main editions for the series: Gigantic and Vengeance Edition.
- Gigantic Edition - It features a VERY elaborate tuckbox made with many components which are 3D embossed and foiled with metallic foil. It is a "Bionical Tuck Design" - where it can formed up to 8 different designs!

- Vengeance Edition - It features a standardized tuckbox with a side opening. The artworks of the box are 3D embossed and foiled with metallic foil. The box opened up sideways, and it is in shape of a bat's wing. It is designed to be a "TRIO DISPLAY" - presenting the nocturnal creature. When the two decks, each one on the side, opens up - it features a flapping bat. The cards for this edition has a bordered design, designed to be playable decks.
- V1 / Eye of the Devil - The color scheme for this version is black and gold. Both editions feature the same artworks, only that the Gigantic Edition is borderless, the Vengeance Edition is bordered.
- V2 / Return of the Blood Moon - The color scheme for this version is black, red, and white. Each edition has their own respective artworks: Gigantic features the same art-style as the previous version, yet with more new demons. Vengeance Edition have two variants: Classic and Variant, each has difference back design and box foil colors.

Iron Man MK85 was firstly unofficially sold in the Chinese market - this deck has a switch on the deck that allows you to turn off the lights completely/lits on when opened and lits off when closed/always lits up. The offical release of the deck removes the switch, so the box only lits on when the box is opened and lits off when it's closed - and it has been this way throughout the series. Manuals of battery replacements can be found in Card Mafia's Youtube channel.
Black Panther Playing Cards, Spider-Man: Black & Gold, and Doctor Strange V2 features two different colorways and two different card materials - Paper version features a full bleed black background with darker color scheme; PVC version features a white bordered design with lighter color scheme.
Spider-Man: Iron Spider features a dual-design: different color scheme yet same material. Crimson feature all full red cards, while Classic retains the white background and bordered back.
Avengers: Loki features a dual-design assembly: the box not only has the usual Built-In LED lighting, it can contains two decks of playing cards, one deck is paper with black background, the other one is PVC and white background.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales features two different colorways and two different card materials. Unlike the previous three decks, Paper version features a white border design with lighter color scheme; PVC version features a full bleed black background with darker color scheme.

The One Piece deck series was revealed and sold in anime conventions in Canada. The decks finally released, with three characters listed per round. There is the complete set of it, 9 decks total with fully foil upgrade on the tuckboxes - only 1500 sets available. Later, there are the gilded variants for the fully foiled box version - only 200 made for each edition and comes with custom numbered seal; getting all of the 9 Gilded decks will come with exclusive Elite Collection Storage Box.
