Islenzk Spil ,designed by Tryggvi Magnusson in 1930.
This pack is a later printing of the Islenzk Spil deck where each card except the Aces have a striped yellow background within the line frame as opposed to the plain white backgrounds of earlier printings ,Also this later version uses Four-colour process printing which looks more colourful than the earlier decks that were printed using Half-tone Black,Red ,Yellow and Blue giving the cards a rather sombre effect. The very first printing of June 1930 by Vereinigte Alternburger und Stralsunder Spielkarten Fabriken, Altenberg Germany has very elaborate Silver and Gold highlights on the tuck box and back`s.
