Did the colors get reversed? Looking at the KS page, it looks like it's supposed to be a black tuck with silver/gray lettering. Even update #8 shows black tuck with silver/gray lettering:

No the colors never changed. The specific picture you see above just has the black foil reflecting my softbox light just right so it looks like light grey. The design has always remained black tuck with black foil. Hope that clears that up.

Looks like the "Silver" Tally Ho but light reflection in a pic is understandable. I wonder if there'll be another color.

I got mine today and I can confirm that in person there's no real shades of gray. It's very black, very sleek. I for one am happy the way these turned out!

The foil looks amazing. The registration leaves much to be desired.

With a Legacy case, is it sealed itself somehow or you can open the case but the deck can remained sealed?

Didn't get these myself, but it's sad to see such poor registration (which isn't on the producer, but the manufacturer).

The USPCC just keeps shooting themselves in the foot with this, don't they? As the top playing card manufacturer they should really take measures to fix it, but I guess "the wolf on top of the hill is not as hungry as the wolf climbing the hill" (massive bonus points to whoever knows where the quote is from).

No. But I suppose I can't guarantee that it hasn't appeared more than one place.

Basically how the back design is centered on the back of the card...if you look at the picture that PrincessTrouble shows, the design is much closer to the side of the card than the other...in other words, poor registration, which is quite common with USPC decks...if you look at Legends and Expert decks, the registration is usually spot on (both sides have equal borders)

Totally. Not faulting Jackson at all; it's USPCC. This is really my only gripe with them. But it's so bothersome to me that I'll cut way back on my USPCC purchases since they seem to be doing nothing to improve the issue. I'm always so relieved now when I see a deck design I like and the artist decides to go with Legends or Expert. I'd rather wait much longer for a deck with perfect registration to be produced and shipped on a slow boat than a USPCC deck with crappy registration that gets produced and shipped in a shorter time.

I also think the big fat borders that USPCC requires (ala the Texas deck) are ugly but I could deal with them if they were even and centered!

Imagine the print run.
The alternating application of various colours/foils/embossing over the length of that run.
How all must align/conform, i.e. 'Register' .... exactly on the card stock every run.
Imagine how all may incrementally shift/mis-align if not registered to the same mark. See your uncut sheets, colour tones, registration marks all assist in the >Register< so that the end result is centred and uniform, in confirmation to the original design.
Then, Cut that to same.
Factor in pressure of work schedule, skill/unskilled effort, an entire raft of neccessary application to the job, and the result of much work is marred by incremental shift.
Tzzzzz.
Ask the bloke in Athens.
Ummm. No don't.

How big is a Legacy case or something else that's comparable in size?

I was sad to hear that the KW King's head logo never worked out. It was the main aesthetic reason I backed. It's a significant design shift.

I agree 100%.

The fact that Jackson prefers to NOT say anything until someone receives and uploads a picture to the forum is unprofessional by him.

I'm sure these kinda changes would greatly help us backers' decision to support his work during the campaign. Nowhere on the KS Black Diamond page does it state: The artwork, overall design, and/or materials are subject to change at any point for any of the rewards, including but not limited to the decks of playing cards and the additional rewards offered.

And now today, an update is sent regarding the Tactical Versions stating Underground Tactical back out last minute!?!?

Common Jackson, this news to the 6 people that are waiting on receiving them is a huge blow. You stated "their design and quality is unmatched."

With you seeking another supplier (which could takes months to complete & ship) how can you guarantee the quality & design you speak of, will still be there??? At $350 a pop (minus the two decks @$27) I'd sure hope so...!

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.

I received my Legcy yesterday and think the seal design is a nicer look. My first Legacy from KW and looking at the 3 Tally-Ho's in Pierre's picture having the black one say Tally-Ho would have looked better.
Move on, nothing to see here.

These days it's just best to only get the cards and not the accessories. The cards are the main selling point and it's cool to have different, unique items but doesn't always go as planned. I know it's mostly not the creator's fault but the manufacturer's.

With that said, the Tactical cases may not be bullet proof afterall. :(
