Seeking Opinions of Value - Requiem & Heretic Decks

Unread post by Kristos »

Hi all,

I'm a pretty avid collector of decks and I was recently approached about a couple of my favorites that are very difficult to acquire. I wanted to reach out to the community and get opinions of value (if any at all) for the ones I've listed below. Again, I'm just exploring my curiosity and would love any feedback that comes my way. Photos attached for reference as well.

All created by Lorenzo Gaggiotti
1. Requiem (Autumn Version) Gran Riserva Edition (#21 of 30)
2. Requiem (Winter Version) Gran Riserva Edition (#22 of 30)
3. Heretic Gran Riserva Edition (#6 of 10)
4. Heretic Prototype deck (#4 of 12)

To me, valuing a deck of cards is hard, especially something signed by the creator. You paid x amount to get the signed decks so there is your starting point for resale. Is it something you're willing to part with and not regret doing so later on or is it something you'll look at in a few years and say "why'd I buy this"?

You know you're not going to open those decks so do you have the same deck that you can open? I'm guessing you do.

Sorry I can't put a price on it but that's up to your "heart" and appreciation of those limited decks.
Move on, nothing to see here.

But these weren't available any other way (than signed). All four are truly unusual decks, given that at most 30 of any type was made. They are among the first Ultra Limited Edition decks (and of course the prototype quantity is not specified, but Lorenzo can probably tell).

Actually the picture says 12.

Well, the requiem gran riserva decks are on my white whale list. Wouldn't know where to start at valuing them.

Thank you all for the feedback and opinions. Honestly it was more my curiosity. I've never valued any decks either. Just always curious to see how sought after they are. If anyone else has a view on these decks feel free to give me a shout.
