As you all know I'm seeking funds on Kickstarter for "Divine Art Playing Cards White Gold Edition" ( http://kck.st/2oYThuu" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) which is currently live and is hovering at 26% funded with a goal of AUD $ 18,700. I'm thrilled about this & appreciate the backing of passionate folks at United Cardists along with my previous & current backers, I'd like to offer the opportunity to anyone passionate about playing cards (be it a collector or cardist or magician or even a regular card game player) to win selected decks from my personal collection.
Do you want to win some of the rarest decks of Playing Cards? If yes, then continue to read further.
What's on offer?
1. One brand new & sealed Divine Art Playing Card Limited Edition deck - Funded on Kickstarter in Nov'16, this deck is based on Hindu Mythology, inspired by folk art forms and comes with beautiful gold foil on card backs with gold gilded edges and a very limited print run of 500 decks.
2. One Brand new and unopened Archduke Eagleback deck of Playing Cards - Produced by Rajas Paranjape, it used to be a favorite among both cardists & would be magicians way back in 2010-11. Made on a special & thick Casino Grade German stock, it comes with 2 custom Jokers, a custom Ace of Spades with rest of the cards are standard faces. Out of print from last few years.
3. The best kept for the last. A fully handmade & lacquered reproduction of the Maharashtra pack of cards said to be made in 19th Century by skilled Sawantwadi craftsmen in India. The original deck is now in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
Experts dispute the origin of this pack of cards with the Original Museum entry records 'Mysore c.1780'. This deck is fully handcrafted from the cards to the wooden box, so no 2 decks are same. Comes with 52 cards packed in a handpainted wooden box. This will be a brand new deck from my personal collection of 5 such decks that I got made by skilled artisans in this craft (from many generations) this year.
If you are a playing card aficionado or collector or a cardist or magician, this reward has got something for each one of you.
