This Jules Verne deck by Grimaud came today. Really cool one, 100 % custom.

I really like it, the Aces are great and it even has custom pips. Quite nice one IMO! Picked this one up from Naipeszaca.com.

Unexpected knock at the door: FedEx with my customized Love is a Smoke (#8 of 20) cigar box, San Cristobal with a gadsden (revolutionary war) flag coiled "Don't Tread On Me" tattoo

As usual, probably sideways because my phone ignores the 90° rotation setting... Double click and it (usually) displays correctly.

Got my custom box in today as well, but unfortunately the hinge broke during transit.

Careful with the Gadsden symbol now, liberal pussies are pushing their way on that now too.

Wearing ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ insignia could be punishable racial harassment

I received my UUSI Brüt Tarot copper gilded deck and display box today. No pics yet but holy crap is the box nice. Being a woodworker myself I can appreciate the thought that went into the designing, construction and finish of the box. Well worth it IMO. Anyone that is contemplating issuing a display box with their decks should draw inspiration from Peter & Linnea

BTW - I got number 1 of 10 too. Freaking stoked about that. :D

Even though I cut back recently, I got a few in during the past month or so. Newest includes the elusive Mana Sybil Livida and the Deviant Moon Tarot

Nah, I've cut back a lot lately and really I rarely like black backgrounds on cards so the gold on blue I just wasn't feeling it. Nice otherwise though.

NOC branding is a bit strange lately.

Last NOC by the Blue Crown was the Signature Series III (Laura London deck)
Since then nothing new from the Blue Crown.

But Murphy's Magic did a Gaff Deck for Black NOC.
Bit later the Dapper NOC by Vanishing Inc.
And now NOC Summer Blue/Orange by ?????

Just wondering what happend to the Blue Crown.....

I know how to go "radio silent", huh?

Working my way out of the hole I dug - appears on my doorstep today:

Lotrek's ICONS series decks, shown here without the "demo" and "trial" versions, and with yours truly gracing the King of Spades (from top left, Signature, inverted Imperial, original Imperial and Sacred editions)

This is a reprint of a French deck from 1860.

Image

This deck is about the same size as a mini size deck. 4 custom aces, no indexies and each court is different.

This next one is a lot cooler. It is a transformation style deck and a reprint of a German deck from 1806. Each card is different and they look awesome. The courts have people from anticent Greece and Rome in them. These are not poker size, but wider and taller.

I do have one of each unopened, which I'll be giving away at the UC decks of the year 2016 awards with some other stuff.

Is there a name for the deck? Love the transformation decks.

I ordered it from Naipeszaca.com which is a store in Spain and on their site the name is:
BARAJA DE TRANSFORMACION ALEMANA

Looks like they still have 6 of them for sale, I do recommend this deck, it looks very cool. If you like it then go for it :D

I don't post here as often as I should, but here's a package I received today.

I'd ordered from JP Playing Cards but hadn't realised there was a UC promotion. I mentioned this and Paul extremely generously sent out a completely separate package for me!

Some very nice surprises here! :)

They were easily available on ebay from pokerstud52 and others if I remember . The V2 limited is still there for $9. The V1 is now hard to find. JP playing cards had some for a while but now sold out

Yeah - i was just fortunate that it was in JP'#s stock of seconds. It's hard to see in the pic but there is a score mark to the front of the tuck - still like an early xmas!!

I got a couple of Cartamundi made decks yesterday, oddly both #3 - one of Dr Immy Smith's Cryptic (moth camouflaged) series of 1000 and #3 / 20 of their prototype red foil back Ruby deck I won:
2016-11-06 09.28.09.jpg
I guess that's 2 of 30, eh? I didn't look closely until I uploaded it.

2016-11-06 09.30.46.jpg
Also a shot of both her business card (back) and a roughly 4" × 6" (whatever that works out to in metric) print of the AoS.

I also have #4 of Cryptic, one to play and a pair of uncuts on the way. _VERY_ nice deck! They are available from her Etsy webtore for 15# (GBP) + shipping.

Picked up a Glamor Nugget Collectors Box and Limited Gold Foil Black deck this past week to complete my set :D

I'm not sure why it has Mr Wang on it (maybe he's the creator) and though it does detract from it a little, overall it is still a nice box and the decks fit in the slots perfectly. Not that you would store other decks in the box, but it seems that only decks made by the Taiwan printer (used by EPCC, LPCC and many more, including the Glamor Nugget creator I suspect) fit in the slots and all USPCC decks don't as their tucks are slightly taller.
