Great news... Can you define "soon"?
Also who will print these?

Beautiful faces, both the card faces and the women's faces :)
I want to see the back design, but I think I'm in.

One suggestion, that wouldn't be hard, is to switch some of the directions the court cards are facing. Right now, all the court cards are facing to the left! I hope that's not the case with all the court cards.

SUGGESTION: Follow the pattern of a standard deck and make sure the spades and the jack of clubs are facing to the RIGHT. And the rest of the cards are facing to the left.

BONUS points for making the jack of hearts and the jack of spades on a dead on profile, making them one-eyed jacks. I hope the king of hearts can have something going through his head, like the suicide king should have! :)

What are the chances of you doing this?

Agreed. With everybody. On all points.

Probably in.

And, again, who is likely to be the printer? :)

Looking VERY nice! Just looking, I assume that you have not shown back or tuck box(es)?

First of all thank you for the comments and advice. I'm going to launch the project at the beginning of June. The printing company will be the NPCC. As for the advice to face the jacks and spades to the right - I'll try and show you later. The back and the tuck box will be announced later.

Just the Jack of Clubs faces the right. Well, and the Jack of Spades, insofar as all of the Spades courts face to the right.

And, thank you for taking our feedback into account! Hopefully, this will help your deck to be that just more awesome than it already looks like its going to be. :)

No please NO... Your deck deserve way better printing company than NPCC.
There is no advantage in using NPCC, you get an inferior deck overall, and still we end up paying the same as if it was printed by USPCC or EPCC, so please reconsider (unless your main intention is making profit, if that's the case, good luck)...

I can't see myself not getting this deck, but if you keep it with the NPCC, I may end up just pledging for one deck, or try to do a trade after...

That's A LOT of gold. A bit too much for my taste. Maybe try to break it up with something else?

+1. Especially the backs... Maybe you can do something about it.

I see that you will go with the NPCC which is a big mistake in my opinion, hope you consider and choose EPCC or USPCC

Agree with too much gold and bland tuck box. "Golden Age" tells me nothing about the hard work you put into the courts.
Move on, nothing to see here.

Hello! Thanks for your advice about the tuck box, I'll think about some changes of the design. Here is the update of the court cards facing left.

It looks like you are using the long s (ſ) in the names of your characters. In the most common usage, the long s wouldn't appear at the end of words or as the second letter of a double s. The common round s would be used in those positions ... So these names would typically appear as Domitius, Feſtus, and Caſsian. Hope this helps ...

Good catch and suggestion.

Another route to try would be to eliminate the names, and perhaps subtle golden pips along the ribbon. A few golden spades would look cool.

What happened? I got a notice this deck launched in my email only to see it cancelled. I hope it wasn't all the Neil Gaiman mentions.

Courts are stunning but number card and Ace pips have too much gold on them hiding the suit in my opinion.

Move on, nothing to see here.

Hello to everyone! I'm sorry, but the project was launched accidentally and that's why I had to cancel it. But it will be launched again on 16 August and I hope to get your support.
You can now see the pledges and the whole project - it won't change.
I would be grateful for your comments on the deck design.

Can you tone down or even remove the gold on the Aces and number card pips? You can't easily tell what they are. Spades look like Clubs to me.

Courts look great!

This is also my suggestion. Keep the courts, kill the extra gold on the Aces and number cards. It's really too much. The court cards are beyond fantastic.

Thank you for the comments. I removed gold on the Aces (except the ace of spades - for comparison). Do you like the result?

Also here are 3 variants for numbered cards - as for me, those without gold look boring. That's why I put the gold on the back side.

My suggestions would be:

On the Ace of Spades, just leave the gold for the middle and REMOVE the black spade underneath. Gold shape only!

Keep the Ace of Hearts, Clubs and Diamonds how you have them now (WITHOUT the gold in the middle).

The LAST 9 of spades works best. The first two (the one on the left and in the middle don't work at all). Honestly, they are bad. The last one works fine!

EDIT: Tuck looks great. Back design looks great! Fix/change the number cards and Aces and I think you have a winner. Again, the court cards are FANTASTIC.
