Bicycle Canada 150 Years ( Sesquicentennial )

Unread post by CBJ »

I received this in the mail today.

Canada 150 Years will be shipping to Canadian retailers soon. Wal-Mart will have them by the end of April. Other major retailers will have them soon after that.

I don't open my decks, but I can tel you that I'm quite disappointed in this deck. I was really hoping they would go all out for Canada's 150th. No embossing, no foiling, nothing. It looks like a cheap souvenir deck.

2 years ago, I had a friend do these mock ups for me. ... They're just rough mock ups.

Anyway, I guess it is what it is.

Was hopeful for a minute when I saw the front of the box.

Print your decks, I'll take a brick of each! The second one looks like an Alex Chin design.

Damn Jay, did you show those to USPCC? If you did and they still used their version, someone should be fired! I'm with Joe, print your decks and I will take a bunch too!

Yea that mock up can turn into reality. It'll be nice to visit Canada now being in it's 150 years.

Aww man! What did you wait for, Jay? Should have struck while the iron was hot (i.e. last year), not 1/4 through 2017. Oh well.

$8 a deck? Walk into any Walmart in Canada and I guarantee they'll have a brick or more collecting dust on their shelves for $4 each.

Found a bunch of these in a Toronto Walmart for C$3.93. Better than a typical souvenir deck. The stock is good and the photos are nice.
