It's nice to see Lorenzo pull out another limited version for this deck. Your craftsmanship goes without notice. Can't wait to see what you have in store. Keep up the amazing work.

I think he means your craftsmanship does not go without notice. A double negative, but you get the point. Awesome, neat stuff you do that need to be acquired. Those last Gemini Experimental decks were sold out fast!

I only have 2 Purple and Maroon Ravn decks and that deck is absolutely stunning! I really hope this gets funded at a time when I have a sound economy. Lol

Hells teeth this deck looks gorgeous. What strikes me about it is that I can see elements of all Lorenzo’s other decks coming together in the one design. Obviously No.17 and Heretic, but I’m also feeling the Requiem artwork and vibe. Or is that just me ?

And he’s been learning sigilisation, which adds another dimension to the deck (A.O. Spare would be proud).

If there was ever another designer itching to do a tarot deck it’s this feller. Imagine that.

Thank you for the great feedback, I finally managed to make the rendering of the tuckboxes... I spent the whole week on these.
In the beginning the guardian animal was not planned, but I thought it might give an extra touch. :)

Will any of the decks have two way courts or both decks will be one way courts?

Thank you everybody for the positive feedback :) I probably will launch the campaign in a couple of weeks, or at the end of March... I am not ready with a couple of important things and waiting for quotations.

Bikefanatic wrote:Will any of the decks have two way courts or both decks will be one way courts?
Both decks are one-way and index-less, that is the main concept of this project. 2ways does not work with those courts, I should redesign all of them and I am already exhausted. I want to stay focused on the main concept which - imho - makes the deck different and special. :)

The campaign will have 2 decks:
Black version: Cartomancer
White version: Faro

And of course a Limited Edition: Gatekeeper (cards from Cartomancer, it's own tuckbox, and another thing that - hopefully - will blow your mind)
I would like to make a video, let's see how much time and $$$ it takes.

Stay tuned!

Hey Lorenzo. I’m a filmmaker. Please contact me as I’m sure I offer some insight regarding the video. You can see some of my deck reviews for samples.

Yes yes YES. 100% on-board from Day 1. Please don't compromise on this. These are looking fantastic and I have been drooling for ~6 months now...

While it's been asked or suggested by others a few times already in this thread, it's not yet been answered. Will you be making uncut sheets available (the correct answer is yes)?

This looks fantastic, I won't be able to stay away from this one. Great work!

Thanx! and of course, as always. Even if uncut sheets are not that popular, the cartomancer uncut sheet (the one in black) will be available as add-on :)
I am working now on the campaign's pictures and texts :)

As soon as I have news I post them here of course!

Though I want these decks right now, I sure hope you take your time to prepare the campaign and only lunch it by the end of the month! Too many decks last month and this month is already going the same path...
So just make sure you choose the right time (for you and for your backers :P )

Guys, I posted on Lorenzo's ins about collaborating with cartamundi...

IMO this is gonna be a waste of Lorenzo's artwork, what do you guys think about this?

I hate Taiwan factories, but far less than how much I hate cartamundi tbh

Do you have any recent cartamundi decks? They handle amazingly and it is not at all a detriment to the deck.

If anything its a big plus because I am really looking to expand the cartamundi section of my collection.

I prefer Cartamundi against the EPCC/LPCC Taiwan factory right now because Cartamundi did a very good job lately.
The reason for me is that i like the soft Cartamundi stock more than the stiff stock from the Taiwan factory.
Even with foiled cards Cartamundi is imo the better choice, best example ist the Regalia deck from Shin Lim which turned out amazing.

Introducing: The Cartomancer
Gold Cold-foil finish on both side of the cards. This version will be printed by Cartamundi on their new True Linen B9 Finish used for COPAG 310.
Black tuckbox with gold and black foil + embossing.

The White one is called "Faro" and I will post more specs about that later on.

This is - for now - the plan :)

I don’t think it is possible for Lorenzo to do anything but top notch or better artwork.

At the moment I am working on the presentation video, which is a thing I hate since I have to be on camera. Just did 2000 takes and none are good of course.
F**k it, i use the less lame.

Estimated release date: monday 26, maybe before. I will keep you posted!
