and here is the king of hearts, but I will need to tweak a bit the mess under the sword. That belt make a bit of visual noise.
Enjoy the lionhead king :)

The white sword looks out of place to me. I saw the QoS had a line around her odd black weapon, maybe red line around Hearts/Diamonds weapons? I know it will throw off your other white lines though. Ugh, card design. :D

Just to keep you posted, to those not following/using facebook or instagram

here the Jack of clubs and the Queen of Diamonds.
Remember that when I am done with the 12 courts, i let them "rest" for a while far from my eyes and I will certainly do a few tweaks/changes/adds/fixes in better.

I hope you like them!

I like the King of Diamonds now. The white sword is interesting, but I think it works great and it goes with the rays of light behind the queen of diamonds. I guess I will have to get used to his visor down.

For me Gemini is the best designed playing card deck I have ever seen... Or was rather. This is not even complete and I have never seen better design on custom playing cards.

Hi all!

thank you for the feedback! I always collect all the suggestions/feedbacks and I do tweaks when I am done with all the cards.
I am very glad that you like it, I invest a lot of time in concept and sketches, that's why I release max 2 decks each year.

More court cards soon, working on it :)

Things are starting to tail off for me in playing card collecting. Great decks have been flowing less and less since 2017 began. My car blew up, so I had to buy another one of those, and will have to sell some decks that I really don't want to.

I agree to a degree with the above. Gemini, while not THE best IMO, is such a simple, while also complex, and BEAUTIFUL deck/decks. The light touch of foil makes Noctis easily a Top 10 favorite for me.

I've been in love with the index-less design since Day 1. It will be unique to my collection. The 1-way courts are so gorgeous... I think you showed a prototype or render before with metallic gold ink and I was drooling (which I don't normally do over paper...). I have never been so in love with a preliminary/prototype deck design before.

This may be one of the last custom playing card decks I ever buy.

I can't wait any longer! Release the kraken! Fire everything! Loud noises!

I just love this design so much. Never seen better.

Are there going to be multiple colors or editions of this deck?

Oh and message number 700.

LOVE this design ...but I think this black/gold back is killing everything. Not only the color scheme. I think the dencity, and the level of "fine" details should be the same for both sides of the card. Just IMHO.

You know what? I agree with the color criticism. I prefer both sides of the cards to be the same. I love the difference in detail, though. If the back was white (or off-white), instead, with that grey and gold...

Even if he keeps it as-is, it looks like it'll be one of my favorite decks.

I think silver foil on the back would serve the cards much better, to match the white details on the front in their starkness. I also think the black on the backs isn't the best choice, now this might be a bit left field but I would go with purple, it's rare and holy shit with silver foil would look deadly!

Hi all

thank you for the feeback, much appreciated.
To make the faces more consistent with the back design, I am thinking of having one of the 2 options.

I think I like the golden frame most, but the golden thin frame on black is also nice. Hard Choice!

I think version B matches the back design much better, so I would choose the black border in this case.

B allows the illustration to really pop against the black "background".

A would look pretty sick with metallic inks though.
