More like DOA (Dead on Arrival).
But seriously, please check out my latest project. I would really appreciate your support on this one. I know I'm no Jackson Robinson, Randy Butterfield, Lorenzo Gaggiotti, Jody Eklund, Paul Carpenter or Lotrek... but I do try my best. I'm very proud of this deck.

I like it a lot as well, it's well done, but it's an idea that has been done to death, everyone already owns multiple decks of this theme I suspect. I know I do.

I agree with you 100% but this is Robert's main theme. I think this deck looks the best out of all of them. I remember years ago he had his own custom standard courts but dont know what happened.

I know the Civil War theme has been beaten to death but this is part of a much larger project. I can't let out all the details now because it will spoil the surprises to come. But basically... Rise of a Nation, Divide of a Nation, Call of a Nation and Fear of a Nation will be a series of decks that tell the story of America. Each deck will have hidden codes and message that will take you to various locations in Washington DC. The first deck did this and now this deck will do it also. Once all four decks have been completed, they will act as puzzle pieces to one larger mystery.
Anyway, I'm hoping to get these produced because I know they'll be a smash hit at the Smithsonian. The Smithsonian just purchased Rise of a Nation for their gift shops.
I know what you're thinking... "I'll just buy them there." Well, you can but they'll be the same price.

At first glace a $13 deck with no "tuck bling" seemed a little steep but then I thought about it- a fully customized deck, Bicycle-branding, and free shipping for $13?? Easily supported. Plus I'm a sucker for card series, especially RJ's (I've told you before and I'll say it again- there's TONS of history in Boston and my city is just aching for an RJ deck! ;) ).

Don't sell yourself short- that's pretty bad ass and I don't know too many custom decks that are in gift shops.

I appreciate all the support. I'll make a Boston deck one of these days. It's a great place to visit with tons of history. In fact, I need to make another trip up there. I haven't been up there since the summer of 2015.

Sadly it doesn't look like this is going to fund. But a new unbranded version just became available to add on and hopefully put this project over the hump!

I think the artwork is quite good, but the subject matter doesn't interest me.

Good luck with your project. I hope it funds. You are an excellent artist.

Just got the last of the decks up on the website for pre-orders. So, please feel free to support my endeavor to bring Made in the USA back home. For awhile I was starting to stray away from that goal. While I have nothing against the Chinese printing company I was working with and the people there... I feel that their commitment to put out a consistent product isn't to the level it should be. Sometimes the cards turned out good and other times they weren't. They would tell me it had a lot to do with the weather there and how they didn't have a climate controlled printing room. Regardless, after talking with Mike Slaughter from USPCC, I decided that USPCC will be doing my printing from this point forward.
Here's a quick question to all the cardists here... do you know any easy to follow (and learn) Youtube tutorials on fanning or cardistry moves. These local history decks that I'm doing is getting a lot of attention from the media. On Friday, I'm meeting with a local tv station in State College PA and then I have another tv station out of Elmira I'll be doing a story with later. If I acted like I knew how to handle cards like a pro... maybe it would impress some ladies watching the local news.
If you get a chance, check out our decks at http://www.barclaymountain.com
I would greatly appreciate your support!!!!

Here's a Youtube video explaining our company...
https://youtu.be/ucBTwTuxwOA

and one showing how I create the local history cards. FYI, this card may or may not be in the deck. Trying to work my magic with Joe Paterno's family.

Robert, I ordered my decks before you put the last two decks (Lackawana & Scranton) on your website...anyway I can add them to my order so I don't have to pay for shipping a second time?

I created a free shipping coupon code just for you. The site I use doesn't allow for modification as easily as the Backerkit does. I'll send the code to you in a private message. I set it up so it can only be used once... so buy as much as you want. lol
