You're kidding, right?
no. to me this is a lame idea, lame execution, it looks like a cheap rendering or something. sure, a lot of work went into this. doesn't make it awesome, though.
but it's fine if you like it and put it somewhere you can look at it every now and then and think to yourself: I'm really glad I bought this, it was the right call and enjoy looking at it.
That's fine, everyone has different things they are looking for, and I don't expect everyone to like the same thing. For instance, I am constantly amazed that people love decks like the Fontain Series - I find that pretty bland. I can't understand how they have sold 17,000 decks or raised hundreds of thousands of dollars with so little deviation from the norm. But people are entitled to like what they will. With Prism, Pipmen and now Pipmen world I try to bring something different to a table which has historically been overwhelmingly uniform. It's a way of scratching a creative itch which I get a lot of enjoyment out of.
On another topic, for those wondering about the playability of this deck as a functional deck of cards - I made a picture!
Ben,
You're right...To each his own. The uncut look stunning and I am able to appreciate the effort, creativity & imagination that would have gone into this. Hats off to you! Good luck with the project.
Make sure to pledge in the first 18 hours to take advantage of the Earlybird pricing! Decks and uncuts are going super cheap with FREE US shipping, you would be crazy not to get in soon

I see you made it 20 hours, not 18. You're almost at 1/3 funded in 50 minutes!

I figured I'de give a bit of a buffer, esp as KS timed reward tiers are a bit confusing to work out with time zones... But yeah, it's doing pretty well I'm about to go back to bed - it's 4am in Sydney!

I'll probably use Crowdox. I used them for Prism Day and Dusk, and they were OK. Not as good as Backerkit, but as Backerkit have recently doubled their price I can't afford them :S
12 hours in and we have already funded both decks and unlocked the first stretch goal: Pipmen Posters!

If you like the PIpmen World without the borders, make sure to pick up one of these colorful guys, and enjoy hunting the extra Pipmen in the hidden details between the borders

Fud, one question. I'd like to add a full brick of Pipmen world decks (international), to my pledge but can't find the option in the addons table.
There's really no option for that?

Every deck I open makes your sealed one more valuable. You're welcome.

No, I have not made an option to add on a full brick, the reason being is that over several projects I've only had 1-2 people add on that many decks. It's an extra thing to think about that fills up the add on table that I can declutter.
However, if you want to add on a brick, I can include a specific add-on if you would like?
I don't know if we are going to make it, but I really hope we do. At $55k the final stretch goal will be unlocked - I won't give you all the details yet, but as a hint: It's another deck.

oooOOOOoooo!
Thanks, and let's get this last one unlocked!
On the back of that, some input would be appreciated.
The final stretch goal (if we make it) will be a special full-art version of the deck! But I would like your help in deciding how to block out the corner indice numbers. I have 3 options:
Well, Pipmen World has finished funding, and I am blown away by how generous and supporting people are. Over 900 backers is almost twice my previous biggest project - thank you all for being a part of it!
I look forward to delivering these decks as soon as possible, and keep an eye out for the full-art deck launching for a very short campaign in a week or so
Would it be possible to combine shipping between the two campaigns? Or offered through backerkit, paying double international shipping is really a barrier here.

I was just reviewing this campaign, including the updates, and I noticed the puzzles. I for one love puzzles but I can see this as a problem. In order to produce puzzles at a reasonable rate, you would have to produce many puzzles. I would recommend doing a survey to see how many would want one and the number of pieces to the puzzle. Some like 500 piece puzzles while other may rather have a 10000 piece puzzle. Also, the size of the completed puzzle, will it be small or the size of the uncuts?

This is a great result Ben, congratulations on a well-run Kickstarter, and some fantastic creativity and innovation in deck design. I'm a huge fan - see my pictorial review here.
Making a deck in which the cards combine to form a single image is a brilliant idea! I love the polyptych concept, and am excited about seeing the printed decks in due time.
