NOC Snow Leopards

Unread post by vasta41 »

I know this deck was already mentioned in the Holiday 2016 Sales thread but I thought I'd start it's own thread. These are now available for $8.46 (with coupon code: HOLIDAY2016) on TBC website: http://thebluecrown.com/products/noc-sn ... 2112461068" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hey everyone - This is Alex Pandrea here..

So here is the deal. We were originally NOT going to sell this deck. We've been getting too many emails...and to be honest...complaints that the ONLY way to have gotten these were to spend "x" amount of money. I never liked that myself. I feel there should be an option to get them for FREE as a prize, or if you don't feel like spending however much money then I should be at least able to purchase a few decks on their own.

Well here is what we are going to do - this is your ONLY chance to pick up these decks by themselves for a limited time. We will keep these up until New Years Eve or until we sell out our batch.

The Snow Leopard Deck was made to commamorate the NOC Signature Series rare nature. Always going "extinct", selling out in days. This rare deck, and rare color, offers an elegant feel when in your hands. Whether for magic or cardistry, one thing is for sure- Snow Leopards definitely pop out!

Those decks look awful especially at that one gross price!

Yeah I got his email where he claimed people wanted to buy them, my guess though is that very few people spent $50 so he's got to move them by selling.

Beige? or Eggshell white? The NOC decks are just Home Depot paint sample card colors anymore. I would be more interested in a Pantone series

I guess that wouldn't be minimalist enough for the series :ugthink:

Is Blue Crown ever going to do a new deck? And yes I said a NEW deck, they have been beating this dead horse in different colors and nothing new, except the lazy and overpriced Black Friday deck last year. When it comes to designing playing cards, there is nobody in the buisness who has less talent than Alex Pandrea. There! I said it!

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

I agree with one exception: Victorian room was released this year, quite nice deck.

Thanks for reminding, it is a nice deck.

There is a saying here in Finland "Paistaa se päivä joskus risukasaankin". Rough translation would be "Sometimes the sun shines even to a pile dry twigs"
