Pantheon from Thirdway Industries
Hello there!
The ones who subcribed "my newsletter" recieved a " special invite from the God Messenger", teasing the new deck from Thirdway Industries, Pantheon.
Some extra informations on the project:
- just one deck, limited edition (probably 1777 decks). No alternate or unlimited versions.
- It's related to Dedalo, but it's not part of the Dedalo Set. The courts are some of the Dedalo Gods, of course redesigned
- probably foil on back first time I'm doing this!
- Pretty Queens
- Violet + Gold foil on tuck
- Metallic inks on cards
MICROSITE >> http://www.thirdway.it/pantheon/pantheon.html
Launch early October 2016 (soon) I will annouce the launch date here on UC, on my newsletter and to Dedalo Backers

Looks really good as usual but also looks like more of the same of what we've seen recently. I surely hope that your next decks will be something completely different than these and your recent decks.

Re: [soon] Pantheon from Thirdway Industries
@Räpylätassu - Haha thank you
@Mike @Jufin - Thank you for fixing I'm always a bit silly with forum html code.
@Victor - Yes, this is the last one in "Dedalo" style for now. When I was designing Dedalo, I thoght it would be cool have a deck just with Gods (in Dedalo all the spades courts are different Gods in each deck). Because I know I already used this style a lot, I will do just one deck this time. I also want try foil on backs on this one.
I'm working on a new project that will be completely different from Omnia and Dedalo - no more mythology for now

Awesome! I agree with Victor that while awesome, this look is getting a bit old so glad you plan to move on after this. I'll still be in for at least a deck though.

Re: Pantheon from Thirdway Industries - Coming Wed, Oct 12 t
@Nate - Thank you for updating the thread & for the kind feedback!
Yes, this is the last deck in "Dedalo" style for now. I like this style a lot and I think that Pantheon will be different than Dedalo (I don't want make boring decks!! eheh), but the next one will change completely.
@Rich - I have to say I'm tempted to do other things than playing cards. I am having very fun with the coins and I will continue to do them (I haven't decided yet if do the "Pantheon Coin" hehe... if someone want it tell me, it's helpful for decide).
I'm also planning about illustrated books and Tarots Decks in future (I didn't started anything yet, so it's not an immediate thing).
For now, I'm not really interested in fashion (socks, shirts and so on) - I just have a little shop on society6 for that > https://society6.com/ryccio" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - But who knows I'm very open to new things hehe

I am not a big fan of Evil deck or Delirium. Omnia was great, Omnia the Golden Age was great+, Dedalo seems to be another step up, but this is some next level stuff right here.
On a scale in which Italians can understand:
Omnia was as good as the the "My offer you is this - Nothing" scene in Godfather II
Omnia the Golden Age was as good as the scene where Vito Corleone shoots Don Fanucci in Godfather II.
Dedalo is as good as the ending scene in Godfather where Michael has all his enemies killed.
And this is as good as "I know it was you Fredo. You broke my heart."

@Rich - The style I used on Dedalo/Pantheon is very geometric, and I prefer optical illusions who looks good than perfect anathomy: I know I broke some rule - however I'll take a look, you may be right Thank you for the feedback!
@Räpylätassu @vasta @rousselle - Lol When someone tells me about Godfather I always remember the poor horse. It was a huge shock.
However, I agree I learned a lot from Evil Deck - when I started, I know nothing (like Jon Snow) about playing cards. I did some experiments to find a style that would be great for playing cards and I'm always trying to raise the level. For some reasons I like a lot also Delirium, because I'm a bit crazy like those cards. I hope the new project I'm preparing will be another leap foward hehe. Thank you for the kind words!

I do like the symmetry and geometric lines of the cards. The interlocking triangles on the tuck blow my mind away.Thirdway Industries wrote:@Rich - The style I used on Dedalo/Pantheon is very geometric, and I prefer optical illusions who looks good than perfect anathomy: I know I broke some rule - however I'll take a look, you may be right Thank you for the feedback!
