This is pretty damn good.

This deck, I like it! Another!

(Would love to see something similar but as a Kalevala themed deck. I would piss honey. Suomi Finland Perkele etc.)

Love this, I'm in for a pair! Would be more into the coin if they took the English off it.

Dammit, tricked by another flippin NPCC deck. Cancelling pledge. I'm waiting on their previous project to be delivered to prove to me that their printing quality is up to par before I back any more NPCC decks.

Our Danish Mr Aaroe has had two prior projects of his own .... both with full-on fulfillment.
NPCC have articulated well, you may recall TPOTO Deck as it is known ....

Literally nothing. Yeah the quality is not as good as the holy trinity has but they are not bad cards by any means, they fan just fine for example. Like saying that Mike Modano was a bad hockey player because he wasn't as good as Messier or Lemieux...

I agree. And these are great! But since times are tight I'd rather pay to watch Lemieux play.

The last NPCC deck I got felt papery and didn't fan worth a crap. I'd be interested to know if they've improved recently. I like this deck but not NPCC, so won't be pledging.

I don't own every single NPCC deck, but I do own: Branle, Royal Branle, both Chivalry decks, both Indictus decks and Defunctorum Nox. Also I can't do a thumb fan but I can do a one handed fan fairly well. I just faned all of the decks, both with the whole deck and after that with about a half deck. All of them faned and really only that had clumps was the Defunctorum and that is a black deck with lots of ink and also printed on a different stock (if I remember correctly). Other than that no issues with the fans, although on both Branles the stock feels very much more softer and not so good as on Chivalry decks and Indictus decks (they are much more easier to bend compared to Chivalry and Indictus which are tougher)

And if I remember correctly, my NPCC decks for me did not fan well straight out of a box for me, but after some springs and just fanning them, their fanning quality improves greatly.

The biggest issue with the NPCC decks is the cut. They are cut to the face (from the back to the face) and you can really see (and feel) the cut. So until you smooth the edges pretty good, the deck is mostly crap. If you try a table spread with the cards face down on a cloth surface the cards will stick to the cloth and you won be able to spread the cards, but if you try it face up they will spread like a charm!
The stock is not bad, I would say is softer than a regular bike but stiffer than an aristocrat. It will feel like a regular bike after some use.
The finish... well, isn't their strongest either, trying to soften the edges will also wear out the finish, so once your deck have the edges soften the finish will not help to much! But it feels better than an MPC deck!

I'm not sure why the designer of the deck (Nicolai Aarøe) keeps using NPCC (most likely higher profit) but his artwork sure deserves a USPCC deck by now...

If he's trying to save money it's not working because I for one would have given him my money if USPCC was printing them.

Nicolai lives in Scandinavia so I'm guessing it's easier for him to deal with NPCC since they're in Europe too.
Move on, nothing to see here.

This is like the Mythical deck for me: I love the art and design and would really like to back it, but I can't pull the trigger due to the quality. Now I'm not saying Nicolai is going to backstab his backers and go with an even crappier printer after the campaign ended like the jokers who ran the Mythical campaign did, but with the number of decks coming out with top-notch art as well as top-notch quality, I don't think I want to deal with a (beautiful) deck without top-notch quality as well. . .

Just got my pair. Looks fantastic, Nikolai's best deck so far. All NPCC decks clump straight out of the box, but mine did more than normally. Fanning and springing the deck makes it much better after a while, I got good fans with just slight clumping after about 5 minutes, haven't tried to even the last clumps yet.

All of my NPCC decks have clumped straight out of the box but I have gotten great fans with all of them after working with the cards for a couple of minutes. This pair clumped more than normally, but again, the clumps after 5 minutes were really minor, I'm quite sure that I could even them out as well if I worked with them a little while.
