GREEK POTTERY PLAYING CARDS launching June 2nd

Unread post by labalaenlabiblia »

GREEK POTTERY is the last installment of my collection (of four) Ancient culture playing cards. This time based on the legendary vase Greek art and some of it's really famous figures.

The goal of my whole collection is to illustrate to the new generations some of the world's history trough games an art. Make the people familiarize with the pictures I draw and have fun with them.

I want my playing cards to be very different from the rest that they have on the site. I do my best to transmit feelings when people see my art and when I make poker decks I consider them a piece of art that you can play with and not just a game of cards with a million vectors.

The pictures I put on the cards are very selective. I used the Gods like Zeus and Dionysus to illustrate the Kings. For the Queens I have a set of beautiful Goddesses like Era and Athena. The jacks are great Greek heroes like Hercules and Achilles. Finally some evil Titans to illustrate the Jokers.

I'll present you some of the pictures for this new deck.

THE DICE

As it was expected the dice will have figurines that you can find on some paintings on it's six faces. It will come on the basic black and white format and in special black and gold. Read the reward and make sure of the kind of dice you're buying is the right one.

This is the most interesting one from your series and I'll be considering it once it does launch (KickStarter we assume, but as noted above please clarify). All depends on pricing, printer and what else I have pledged at that time. Good luck.
