I have no interest in these. How do we know that we'll even like them?

Plus the picture of the guy screams "I don't need money"... he he he

"I will average 4 pics a day".... seriously? With my low end crappy digital camera I do sequence shots so I get at least a couple pristine perfect pictures. When I go out site-seeing, I usually come back with about 1000 pics to sort through...

Surprised no one has stepped up to bat as the first pledge

It's not difficult if you charge $25/deck... which he looks like the kind of guy that would. ;)

This actually looks like a cool idea to me but I'm not sure playing cards are the best medium for this sort of shot...

The problem is it seems he wants us to pay for the vacation and in return he will make the cards. he should have already done his trip and planned out the deck and then com to us.

Looks like the cards will only feature one photograph on the backs: "One deck of high quality cards featuring the best photograph..." Less interesting than most of the souvenir decks already out there. Mass produced decks selling for less than this often have a different high quality photo on each card.

I believe he means he will need 4 useable pictures per day. But yeah, it's bad language.

Hell, I live in Seattle... I'll step outside and take a few pics of the natural beauty surrounding me. :)
$25.00/deck... highest quality pictures available with a low-end camera... any takers?

You guys know he's charging about 9 and a half bucks per deck for this, not 25, right? this KS is dumb in a lot of ways but that's not one of them.

Ignoring the whole reward/pledge aspect... below is one of the worst written paragraphs written by a native English speaker.
I plan to do a photo shoot over the course of 1 week in January in Antarctica. I will be taking a cruise boat and shooting many photos from both the boat and the land when the ship stops. I will be taking multiple cameras with me and choose the best camera for each photograph. I am hoping to get photos of both the scenery and wildlife.

This is my favorite part...
The 25 best pictures will be on display to the general public for free of charge.
Then... pledge level £20...
All 25 Photos supplied in size 6"x4" (15x10cm)

This is something I would ask my relatives to pay me for, not the random public.

I think most of our comments are just in general natural sarcastic ribbing of the project... We're aware of the prices he's doing... ;)

Yeah I'm just saying that there's plenty of angles you could take to rib this that were at all based in reality, you know? It's not really called-for to basically just make things up, then go after them.
