Chronological List of Modern Bikes?

Unread post by RSLancastr »

Does anyone know of a chronological list of modern Bicycle decks, with their date of first publishing?

I recall reading somewhere (maybe at http://www.bmpokerworld.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) that the original (white) Bicycle "Ghost" deck was the deck that started the whole "collectible deck" craze of recent years. If this is so, the list I am looking for would probably begin with that deck.

Yeah, I think it was either the Ghost or the Black Tiger deck that got the ball rolling.

The most knowledgeable on this is probably Mike of BMP or any of the trusted ebay sellers who has been in the game for a long time (pokerstud, fullboatdealer, Aceking etc).

The Black Tigers rolled out first, but it was the ghost deck that really took hold and made people take notice.

Thanks!

Thanks!
I have to wonder "why?"

I only recently obtained the deck (from you guys, of course!), and found nothing remarkable about it, so I dunno how it could have kicked off much of anything...

So Mike, do you guys have access to a chronological list of all of the modern Bikes?

Because it was so different than anything else on the market back then. It was a game changer. No I do not, sorry.

Thanks!

Thanks for that, DukeBoy!

I downloaded the Excel spreadsheet but have misgivings about running it because it uses macros, and accesses the web.

It's from a reliable source. A friend of mine made this list, it's safe

I have checked it out and it's fine (no virus) but yeah, I get what you mean. Also not ideal in that it requires Excel (and a later version at that). Now if this would somehow be put on a web site..... hint hint.

Yes Bob, I'm looking at you!

Strag, I wikll consider making it a part of my playing card web site, once I rebuild it.

Don't hold your breath, though - I've got a lot on my plate at the moment.
