Unread post by DelMagic »

This weekend ONLY, The Magic Apple is offering 20% off the ENTIRE website! Enter the code "genii" in the coupon box from today until Sunday.

It looks like you can also use the code hankisathief to get the discount in honor of the closing of Hank Lee's magic shop.

I just picked up on of those "professional" Bicycle decks for $4 incl shipping to Canada!
I used both codes... ended up with 20% off and free int. shipping!!!

I would have picked up more decks.. but I own everything else lol

Thanks for the info!

CBJ

EDIT*********** He sent me a message saying there was an error with the site... see below

Wouldn't it just be cheaper for them if they just sent everyone $10?

Thanks!

what kind of B/S is this...

"There was a problem with my website and somehow it offereed free shipping on all orders (I have now fixed the problem) but since I do want your business and would like you contine to shop with us, I'll split the shipping with you 50/50. Please send $6 to my paypal account and I'll get the order out in 2 days. Thank you and sorry about this! I can fit 6 more decks and or a DVD or 2 in the same envelope for the same shipping price. Please let me know if you'd like to add items, cancel the order or you'll just be sending the $6"

Cancelling the order.

Ha, I knew it was a glitch! 20% off is understandable, but free international shipping is insane.

Ah if it was a glitch I feel pretty bad for them. I suppose that's the downside to not bothering to put up a well designed and coded website.

Awhile ago they did a sale that also included free shipping so perhaps they were re-using that and forgot to change the shipping cost calculation.

For those making any substantial purchase, it is still a good deal and domestic shipping of $6 isn't unreasonable.

Anyone have any pics of the Harry Anderson deck the their selling?

I've been looking for his "Spade & Arrow" decks that were going to be sold at his shop in New Orleans before Hurricane Katrina made other plans.

Yeah, I've kept my order with them because even for the two decks I ordered, $6 to get it to canada is perfectly reasonable.
