I like the concept, but not so much the art. I wish them luck though.

I personally like the art. I'm in for the early bird.
One nitpick, however: It's clear that the artist is trying to use a consistent color palette for each suit of courts. I think most of the suits still look pretty awesome, but Europe (Clubs) is all green and i think the two cards shown look too similar.

Agree. At first I thought he was a leprechaun.th4mo wrote:I personally like the art. I'm in for the early bird.

That and the jack of hearts' pose can easily be interpreted as obscene.
I'm also not that comfortable with the club pip.
I need to get my head out of the gutter.

lol. hopefully you are referring to the king... not sure where he's supposed to be from with that horse and hat...Eoghann wrote:Agree. At first I thought he was a leprechaun.
The jack is clearly supposed to be German/Austrian.
i guess... if you're looking for that kind of thing!Eoghann wrote:That and the jack of hearts' pose can easily be interpreted as obscene.
...and you've never seen a Maori warrior (or the New Zealand All Blacks) do a Haka.
Google it if you haven't. I think it's pretty cool.
I'll have to second the latter part of that statement... since i have no idea what you are seeing there...Eoghann wrote:I'm also not that comfortable with the club pip. I need to get my head out of the gutter.

Wow, I apologize for my ignorance. I wasn't aware that was an actual ceremonial gesture.
And yes, I can't help my deeply perturbed mind.

If I would have pledged for this, I'll tell the creator to make the pips in the Number cards like how the Aces are.
