Unread post by CBJ »

I was just looking through a few failed KS decks, and I was wondering... do you wish any of these made their goal??

At the time Heraldry but I don't think I would back it if it came back around.
Still wish Lucent had made it.

The one that is not listed:

THE LEGO DECK.

that we never heard from again. The creator tried with Freakies.
Thank you,
Jeff

The SiShou deck should have made it; it was gorgeous. I wish the creator would have tried again.

Design-wise, the Lucent deck should've gotten produced, but Sean didn't market the deck correctly. He went with jewelry as add-ons, which was a mistake imo. He should've gone with more items directly related to the deck, like serial numbered uncut sheets (so easy to do and big profit margin) and signed artist prints and originals (unique and one-of-a-kind), and custom storage for the decks (wooden boxes/chests, custom brick & half-brick boxes). I hope he relaunches the Lucent again.

Framegod... I thought it was you who had those 2 decks.

You use the exact same avatar the Himber used on the old UC.net... and it's used on the front of the Lego deck...

Aside from all the baloney that happened, I still wish the Army Men deck was in existance.

Personally I really liked the "Lincoln" deck. It was a fairly well designed deck that needed a couple minor tweaks to make it appeal to a wider audience. I think he tried twice and didn't have the time for a third.

Never saw the Lazarus or Steampunk Heroes decks. God knows there have been plenty of steampunk themed decks already.

I actually really liked the art for the Mount Olympus Deck, at least the few images that were available, and i would back that deck again.

I thought the geodeck was a cool concept, and would back it again as well. But it just lacked some kind of "punch" and i'm not that surprised that it failed.

Also, as mentioned by Soliloquy, SiShou was amazing and i still can't believe it didn't easily make its goal. Maybe too many people were unwilling to back a non-US project?
I am still waiting for him to try again.
Keep it Sizzlin'!

CBJ,
No that was not my deck. The avatar I like because of the old silent movie, I wish I could remember the name, but that's the reason for the avatar. Army Men I wish would have been printed instead of a legal battle then its end result.
Thank you,
Jeff

I was interested in the Geodeck and even though it was funded, I really liked The Core deck.
