Ugh, these make even the Karnival decks look like art. Gory clip art is all I see here......

What a ripoff...isn't that copyright infrigement to use someone else picture?
I just sent the link to BBM...I am sure they will be interested on how their pics are used

Let's see... Skulls, vampires, blood, mutilated organs... I think they tried to outdo BBM on gore, but then they forgot to make it good

The King of Hearts looks like David Duchovny and the Queen of Hearts looks like Kiera Knightley

Re: DEMETER Vampire Playing Cards Deck now live on Kickstart
I wonder how much research he has done? He says "Waddingtons" is going to print the deck, but Hasbro, bought Waddington Games in 1994. Today they are marketed by "Winning Moves" (http://winningmoves.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) who bought the brand from Hasbro. But then he says they will have a "magic finish" hmmm? Waddintons Come with a "linen finish."
I wonder if he's even contacted the company

Reminds me of the Postumo deck just a bit.

Re: DEMETER Vampire Playing Cards Deck now live on Kickstart
Even if I liked the art on this deck, the fact that he used another company's picture and photoshopped his deck over theirs makes it a no go for me. They could have just gone to a store, grabbed a skull or two and a few other 'goth' type items and made their own background instead of stealing someone else's work. :\

Re: DEMETER Vampire Playing Cards Deck now live on Kickstart
He's now more than 75% funded, but when you check further, that is due to a single £3,000 pledge. Guessing that this... Must. Be. Fake.
The question, is that backer going to pull out just before the end, or once this payment fails but the project is 'fully funded'?
Wait a minute, I'll go grab some popcorn

This is the likely backer: Anri Antoan. About 90% sure it is him.
Thanks!
