I've got the red deck and I notice several changes in the blue one, it's not just a simple color change.

1) The blue deck's back has 2 colors, blue and silver. The red deck had only a single color on the back, no silver.

2) The red deck had 1 joker's head in the ring of fire, and one larger version of the head with no ring around it. The blue deck has 1 silver ring and 1 black ring, no larger version of the head.

3) The blue deck has rings of fire around the non-spade aces, while the red deck did not, they were normal cards.

4) The red deck had an ad card and a double backer, the blue deck has that "photo-negative" of the card back.

5) The blue deck has silver fire on the ace of spades, the red version is all black.


So, while they aren't massive changes, it is a bit more than just "everything that was red is now blue". I too wish they made all new face cards, though, in the same intricate style as the back and depicting Hindu gods and goddesses. That would have been very cool.

Before this was merged I thought there was 3 decks in total - red, blue and metallic blue. So thanks for the merge, whoever did that
