Hi guys, thanks for the feedback on these cards - I'm the graphics guy who worked with DMC to make the Sharks. We took your comments on board for the next deck, especially the comments about the tuck case being too big - I totally agree and we have got our manufacturing partner to redesign the die that he uses for fabricating the boxes and switched to a glued base to make it physically work better. The cards are a perfect fit now (although the box is still super heavyweight)

I don't know if any of you guys are interested but the details for the next deck in the series, the Great Whites, are at our new site:
http://www.sovereignplayingcards.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I hope you like them, they are being printed now.

For anyone interested there are actually 12 decks of the original Sharks here that DMC has sent me, his last as far as I understand, and I have just added them to the Sovereign website. Slightly sad to see them go, but I can't keep them cooped up forever.

I found these on ebay for around $16, shipped (to the US): https://www.ebay.com/itm/DMC-Sharks-Pla ... 2854893492" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It seems legit although I haven't received my decks yet so I cannot confirm. But if you ask me, I would jump all over this- $16 is a great price for these!

Thanks for the post. However, these just don't make me want to bite. I hope they find a good home though.

These decks are pretty rare and have a shark theme. Aside from those two reasons I don't see the *lure*
They've been on my white whale list for years now and I'm happy to cross them off. Maybe not up to modern day standards but I still like 'em.

Yeah I had not seen a Sharks deck on ebay for years.. And they usually went for $30 to $40 a pop. This box in the attic find is a nice score especially at that price

Been looking for those for YEARS. So happy to cross that one off my white whale list, even though they weren't cheap. It was still a good value, all things considered.

Hey V41, glad they turned up. The Great Whites was my first deck with the optical marking system and I have maybe ten left from the first run. I didn't want to let any of my collection go but Rocsana was adamant we had to!

One day we might do a second edition with a few updates but the first deck has got a special place in my heart for sure.
