Finally, the Fontaine deck is going to be released! Some of you may have seen Zach Mueller use it in his videos lately.

Hmm these look wayyy too similar to the ace fultons imo, plus standard faces? He's gonna have to rely on whatever "star" power he has to sell this deck.

Where do you see standard faces? Can you post a video link or something?

You don't get a super clear view, but I'm 90% certain they are gonna be standard, and one of the gaffs will prolly be a blank card, he used a blank card routine in one of his videos w the deck, can't seem to find it.

Hopefully the link works, using my phone now. At least the borders are thin, but with not much on the back, fans are still gonna be boring..

This is yet another Jerry's Nuggets wannabe knock-off. The fact that some annoying kid in T11 vids uses them makes me even less inclined to buy them.......

Well there's an update from zach, came in my email showing the ace of spades. Pretty simplistic, but not necessarily bad.

Why can't they produce a deck like that .
Thin Borders . theory11 backs and tuck case . Ellusionist faces and S&M quality.

Jokers revealed! I understand that he was going for a simplistic look, but the jokers are just boring...
I'm liking the rest of the deck, though!

I have to say that is a very nice color change he has going on. As far as the cards go I do not know why he would want to copy copies of what has been copied several times.

These are just a bit too simple for me. I lean towards more ornate designs. The pricing on these should be interesting. For decks that require hundreds of hours of artistic work, I could see a higher price, but for a design that seems (to a non-designer at least) far simpler/easier, how could one justify the price if they cost as much as a deck with many, many more design elements? I understand that some people prefer that, but how could you price a hand-assembled Bugatti Veyron the same as a mass produced VW bug? More work commands more money. Just curious.

There are ways to make a deck look simple and clean from a few feet away, but work in interesting and beautiful detail when looked at more closely.

Just sayin'...

I really wanted these, but $12 for such a plain deck, and non-custom deck it just wasn't worth it.

ah, I wish I had seen these earlier, I love simple decks. On his page he talks about making a prototype deck, how does one do that? Guess you could always make some crap deck through http://www.printerstudio.com/personaliz ... cards.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or something

The only way to get a real prototype, with the real paper stock and actual finish, is to work with USPCC and have them make you one. They cost $450 now, so it's not something to do on a whim.

If you want to just preview your back design, you can use zazzle.com, though those decks handle quite poorly.

well shoot for that matter, I'd just upload the back design to Shutterfly and get a deck printed through them. They have good reviews, and If you just wanted to make a teaser to spark interest... it'd be pretty cool
