I hate this 3D rendered fake plastic video game look. Makes the artwork feel tastless and cheap. I don't mind things being cheap, but I don't want anything to look cheap.

Well, clearly you don't play video games, they've never looked like that lol, it's purely the realm of 3D modellers. I agree though, it always looks gross when they try this, and it's always obvious, about the only thing I'd expect it on is a cheap children's board game, or the chinese knock-off.
