If you are a US backer its actually cheapest to pledge for one standard deck and then add on each of the other 3 decks (including LTD) due to shipping cost. In fact the cost of pledging ignoring shipping is a dollar cheaper if you start with two standard decks and add on the LTD. Seems like a strange little mistake to me.

I am in. I managed to pick up one of the last EB cabinet of curiosities. That tier is already sold out. That plus some add-ons got rather expensive, but well worth it given what I have seen Alex produce.

I'm only in for a Virtue deck. I'll like to see a mock up the red oak cabinet if it'll be unlocked or not.

Story of my life lol. I feel like I have something wrong with every KS I launch. Organization is not my strong suit  I'm sure a statistician would have a pretty straight solution for this but realistically I sort of price things based on having the tier absorb the base cost with the add ons being less so. I typically like to go a little shy than too heavy handed on shipping estimates for add ons. The only shipping I really worry about is international + add ons. I still get a large handful each time that create some unexpected order sequence that puts me out of pocket.

Regarding the Red Oak stretch goal, it'll be unlocked once we get fully funded. I have a fully proofed box ready for showing off on the next update. I acknowledge it was a strange roundabout to offer the gilded without the boxes first, but I wanted to show the gilded in the video but also didn't want to release EVERYTHING out the gate so this was my haphazard solution. Hopefully you guys agree with these sentiments...

Oh and also HUGE CONGRATULATIONS Paul! Is it the first or second addition to the family? PM your address and I'll send over a little something your way (card related) for the baby shower.

Thank you so much Alex but you don't have to give us anything! Plus, I already have almost all of your decks lol Except this time I could only go in on a basic 2 pack but I can't wait for them to come in! I have the other color changing tucks and I like them but it's either too hot or too cold in my house for them to work like they do in the demo video.

*shakes fist in rage*
That was you!?!

I was literally moments behind you.

But yes, it's true. Alex's cards are magnificent -- He's one of the designers on my insta-back list. And I'd just like to let you guys know, I was in a specialist cardistry shop recently, saw Alex's 2015 Magna Carta decks, just the Rebels and Royals [2 of each] for $200. Glad I got in early, with 2x gold KJ decks + the box!

I didn’t take the last EB cabinet spot, I was the third our fourth to final spot. However, it sold out not long after I made my pledge. You have to be fast sometimes.

Paul, that's New England weather for you. I have similar problem too in CT but cold house makes the color change work better. I think the green, not pink, deck has better visual color change too. I forgot the tuck colors and didn't look before posting.

I had the same problem that I think most backers did; trying to use the effect shortly after delivery (when it was really warm or really cold outside). I keep my place at a nice 66 degrees year-round and they respond as well as Alex's video. I really can't wait for the new ones.

Oh, Mr. Chin, you're well passed funded now. How about those other nice cabinets..? :D

Seriously, with the 4-deck Seasons box, the Magna Carta mural box, and soon-to-be 4 Cabinets of Curiosity, Alex and Mr. Robinson are the easy attractions in my collection (I have the 5 Federal 52 uncut sheets all framed).

It's great!

I really can't wait to add these cabinets to my collection. Alleged fulfillment in April? Here's hoping for smooth sailing to make that happen!

Two days to the end of the Kickstarter. Last call. Amazing stats Alex. Over 1,800 backers and nearly $150,000 in funding and still two days to go. Considering what most Kickstarter playing card campaigns make, that is way up there. Congrats and keep going in the final push.

100% agree that these are going to look great with the previous campaign's cabinets. IIRC S1 was almost 3 months late and Magna Carta was 5 months late. Not that it really matters, Alex's stuff is always worth it. Hoping for smooth sailing indeed.

You don't see too many playing card campaigns it six figures anymore because there's just so many good options out there now. It's a credit to Alex that he was still able to get this level of support, he definitely deserves it. And even if there are occasional delays in his past campaigns, he does a great job with communication so no one is left in the dark.

Are these being fulfilled without warning!?

I received a shipping alert from Gambler's Warehouse this morning. Apothecary Part 2 and Hoody are the only 2 projects in my queue and Hoody is being fulfilled independently (according to the campaign page).

The project does say April 2018 but I haven't received any message.

Alex did mention in his release of Mar 30 that the decks and uncuts were done, but the White Decks (tucks and Gilded) were in the process and should be done by mid-April. If you only backed the standard decks, it is very likely that your decks have shipped.

So not entirely related to discussion of the deck, but this kickstarter:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ro ... my/crypt-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Appears to be using the artwork for the backs of the card in order to advertise their game. If you watch the kickstarter video about 9-10 seconds in you can see it.

In fact it appears to actually be implemented into the game on the cards for the game (or atleast the prototype) if you watch some of the how to play video (conveniently it is actually shown of the thumbnail screen before even playing the video)...

Was wondering about this and if Alex Chin knew.

I think Alex is already aware as he is one of the backers. It might be a collaboration, who knows?

I backed for both cabinets, so mine will be one of the latest shipments.

To make it more organized to minimize the possibility of any lost packages I'm sending all of the packages to Gambler's in one shipment for fulfillment. I'll be doing an official update later today or tomorrow but it's basically just waiting to get the gilding finished and then boxing them up and we're ready to ship out. It's still looking to be around the last week of April/first week of May for fulfillment.

So one of the creators is actually my cousin. I helped him play test and let him use the designs for the tapestries which was is a fun little Easter Egg for those that like creator stories. He was a little stressed on time to finish the game before launch and I just helped him out a bit. Thanks for the heads up though! It's seriously always good to have eyes out there.

This is exactly what we say, in Portugal, when we discover something from them has been stopped at customs and we need to provide the correct documentation in order for it to be released.

The only difference is that we say it in Portuguese :)

Got my cabinets today. Just a little disappointed with the different size cabinets

Quote: Get both the Limited Edition White Gilded Cabinet and Wood Cabinet of Curiosities. Cabinets "magically connect" to stack perfectly with hidden magnets.

Not quite perfectly I guess as the red oak box is slightly wider. Last time it was dead on perfect but oh well
