When i saw this, i immediately thought of "Implicit" playing cards by Nathan Darma.
I just see a cheap copy with slightly modified standard faces here.

I like the back. Unsurprising since I love the Implicit backs. However, not nearly enough going on here to justify the price.

Well, the price is higher, because he is shipping the decks from Spain (Europe) that means he has to pay shipping cost from USA to Spain + custom taxes. The results: Great for people living in europe while losing people living in US.

If the shipping is built into the price then maybe don't charge extra for shipping on top of the base price?

I like the faces (especially the courts), but as a whole it’s not a good enough deck for the price

While the Implicit creator (IMO) has every right to be peeved, because at first glance it does look like a rip-off, at second glance there are a lot of differences. They're both ugly, though, so IDC.

Yeah, seems like a massive overreaction. Sure, he probably copied the design layout, but can you really claim artistic ownership of something like that? Think of how many similar back designs exist: JNugg style, Tally Ho circle back style, cut-off big circle style (e.g. Zenith) and so on...

I actually like the faces, especially with the teal outlining the pips. I think the backs are crap, copied or not.
Move on, nothing to see here.

I also like the color scheme more than the one used on the Implicit playing cards. But the back design still feels like "meh" to me.

It's easier to get pissed off when only 300 people back your project because your design is mediocre. It's less likely that Paul will get bothered by some amateur doing a half copy-job of Zenith because (I think) it's universally loved as a deck of playing cards.

It reminds me when Linus Omark did a spin-o-rama-fake-slapshot shootout goal in the NHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning cried about it to the media of "show-boating", but Pavel Datsyuk copies Omark's slo-mo layup against Chicago, and it's revered because of how universally entertaining and respected he is.

He's getting more "press" for crying out. More attention.
