Re: River Tsai's Bulletfly Playing Cards
Trajectory wise, these bullets won't fly.
Ever.
As for the cards .... ?
Hmmmm.
The improbabilty is a force indeed.

The casing is flying along with the bullet! Hilarious! Oh my goodness, that's the funniest thing. Wow.

Ok, serious question. If someone were to make custom ammo where the bullet was shaped like a cartridge, would it look like this where the case is flying along with the bullet?rousselle wrote:The casing is flying along with the bullet! Hilarious! Oh my goodness, that's the funniest thing. Wow.
If so, I would love to see some super slow mo of a fully intact looking cartridge coming out of a gun barrel lol.

Re: River Tsai's Bulletfly Playing Cards
Sersly, noop.
Bullet mechanix and efficiency have been stabilized for over 100 years.
Even within the custom sphere, design is constrained.
Bullets/projectiles exit the barrel spinning, leaving the casing and residual propellant gases behind.
So.
Weight of shot/trajectory is fascinating.
See Werner von Braun/V2/Saturn 5/Apollo &co for extension on this ....
