Trajectory wise, these bullets won't fly.

Ok, serious question. If someone were to make custom ammo where the bullet was shaped like a cartridge, would it look like this where the case is flying along with the bullet?

If so, I would love to see some super slow mo of a fully intact looking cartridge coming out of a gun barrel lol.

Sersly, noop.
Bullet mechanix and efficiency have been stabilized for over 100 years.
Even within the custom sphere, design is constrained.
Bullets/projectiles exit the barrel spinning, leaving the casing and residual propellant gases behind.
So.
Weight of shot/trajectory is fascinating.
See Werner von Braun/V2/Saturn 5/Apollo &co for extension on this .... :D
