I like some of this but HATE the faceless courts. As per Max, are they allowed to do that with the rider back now?

I used to like faceless courts, but they are becoming so commonplace that it is getting boring. :? My only other problem is the deck title...what the heck does this deck have to do with the Night of Old Hong Kong other than two neon signs (one on left is for a Pawn shop and the one on the right is for a Seafood Restaurant) which are very common in HK, but can be found in many other Chinese cities. It would have been cooler if they had the HK skyline or something a little more symbolic.

As for the back, I am sorry, I thought it was a Bocopo deck, but I was mistaken :(

Well, I cannot find the Bocopo reference anywhere in this deck but, whatever the creators are, I am sure they have not received any approval of that back. Even with the policy that will expire this year, this change to the rider back wouldn't be allowed by the USPCC. Unless they are a really good customers of USPCC and have got a VERY special permission to do it. I would be really surprised in that case.

Surprised no mention of card printer even though the tuck says Bicycle.
Move on, nothing to see here.

Hope no one backed this one. Seems like another crooked creator. Decks were apparently not USPC or Bicycle branded and not good quality. They even changed the rider backs because of legal issues, something I myself pointed out to them back during the funding. Glad I avoided it.

The creator of this project just posted in the General section here about what happened with this project:

Not sure if I should merge these topics. Thoughts?

I would vote merge. It's a continuance of the original thread and addresses some of the questions above

I think it's better to merge it too.
Btw it's the final design of the deck

I'm far from being from Hongkong, so maybe that is the problem, but besides the jokers nothing speaks Hongkong to me here either. The faceless courts make kinda sense to me since, they could be parts of a neon sign that are broken or suppossed to be animated or flash. The number cards are boring to say it the least amd the back design has way too much dead space imho.
I kinda like the tuck box. Nothing fancy but they give me a vibe of a deck that could be laying around in Cowboy Bebop, Akira or Blade Runner.
