Vito Timmel's Giochi di Corte

Unread post by Räpylätassu »

This is not a new deck, but it is custom and actually suprisingly good looking. Vito Timmel's Giochi di Corte, printed in Italy somewhere in the 90's. Vito Timmel (originally Thümmel) was born in Austria and worked most of his life in Italy as a painter. He was born at 1886 and died at 1949. The deck is based on his work. Giochi di Corte translates to "Court games". The deck is poker size, comes only as one version, has two identitical Jokers. Great looking courts and Jokers, okay back and Aces, horrible tuck box.

NaipesZaca.com had a bunch of these for sale really cheap, but they updated their site and haven't yet uploaded a lot of the decks they used to have for sale. I currently have one opened + unopened. I'll also add this deck to Portfolio52.

I checked the website [url]NaipesZaca.com[url], but I didn't find this deck for sale there. That said, they had an interesting selection of cards. From the total trash, to familiar to really interesting decks. I may have to get a few. However, if you can help me find the deck above on their website, I would be appreciative.

NaipesZaca used to have a wider selection, but they completely redid their website pretty recently, so my guess is that they haven't had the time to upload everything they have for sale yet.

I check them quite regulary, I can post it here if (when) they upload these back on to their site.

Naipes Zaca still has 1 deck left at 4,40 €. After that is sold, the cheapest places that I could find online to get this deck are this Spanish Amazon seller at 6,90 € and this online store at 14,99 USD, "original" price being 24,95 USD.

Found a French online store, which appears to have this deck at the cheapest price on the market currently, 8 € per deck.

Link for those that are interested.
