Hahhaha the infamous pineapple pizza was one of our ideas Soooo we could play with this conceptRäpylätassu wrote:A pineapple topped with a ban sign as the Joker? Please? Pretty please?
You may notice from the back that this deck is heavily bicycle-inspired. The tuck case will follow the same concept (we will print with USPCC). Anyway there will be some alternate versions.Oscar53955 wrote:I’ll probably get this deck just because Pizza is one of my favorites. Will wait and see if the tuck box looks nice or if the deck has any features like embossing, foiling or metallic inks

Thank you! Stay tuned for morevasta41 wrote:I agree that the tuck will make this deck. But when I think "pizza" I don't think shiny. I think the tuck should be textured, not foiled. Either way I love the Lorenzo-like proportions on the QoH
I didn't even think of that. It probably won't be that way but it would be cool!PrincessTrouble wrote:Would be cool if the tuck would open up like a little cardboard pizza box.
She's not really looking at the pizza with her "okay" fingers either.vasta41 wrote:I agree that the tuck will make this deck. But when I think "pizza" I don't think shiny. I think the tuck should be textured, not foiled. Either way I love the Lorenzo-like proportions on the QoH
That symbol is actually one used to signify good food. At least my Italian father always did that. Have you ever ordered pizza and found this guy on the box?:RichK wrote:She's not really looking at the pizza with her "okay" fingers either.vasta41 wrote:I agree that the tuck will make this deck. Seen that guy plenty of times. He doesn't have what she's got.vasta41 wrote:That symbol is actually one used to signify good food. At least my Italian father always did that. Or have the cards and tuck inside a little pizza box case would be cool too.PrincessTrouble wrote:Would be cool if the tuck would open up like a little cardboard pizza box.
I second this!TGunitedcardists wrote: The only thing left are a pizza box tuck, a super fat pizza eating joker stuffing his face with pizza and lots of empty pizza boxes in the background and a naked female joker with pizzas covering the sensual spots!
Thank you very much! As for the joker we will probably play with Italian stereotypes, but we are still thinking... the printer will be 99% USPCC, the back design is inspired by the rider back.TGunitedcardists wrote:@Conturbia: These are fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. I also love, how the custom courts face the "correct" way, keeping us traditionalists happy and making them playable.
For a critique, I think the reds for the indices and pips could be a little darker, like the red colour you have for the pizza heart, and the greens a little darker. While I'd like to see black spades/clubs, green will work, but again, darker might be a tad better. And the back design, nailed it. Could you even push the design to the edges more?

Reasonably priced with a decent printer, I'm all over these for multiple decks. Well done so far. Again, these are fantastic.
