Weird how the court pips are all black then the number card pips, you can see the distinction. Besides that, I wouldn't pull the trigger on these but it's a decent concept of having your name on the seal.

I like their effort in trying something new with the personalized deck seals. My problem with that is I always remove the deck seals when I open my decks, so this feature has no appeal for me. The back design should've been full bleed. But the ultimate kiss of death for me is the printer: NageCards?

My guess is that the major card companies wouldn't take an order of just 150 decks, so their options were likely limited. I agree it is a really interesting idea of customization, but the rest of it is so standard, I just cant bring myself yet to back it. I might, but I am on the fence right now.

I know what my name is- I don't want it on a deck of cards. But I guess I'm a weirdo like that.

Well it's not really standard to have in-frame indices and no index pips on the court cards ...

Tell us what you really think!

That almost puts me over the edge on it. I could call it my most expensive personalized toilet paper deck. Nevermind, I am in. I might personalize it with "Toilet Paper". This has possibilities....

About the printer: NageCards is a printer in Saint Petersburgh in Russia. I own one deck that they have printed. I often argue that the deck does not have to be perfect quality to be a great deck and for me design is everything and pretty much only thing that matters in the end. Well that deck was shit quality, it put even me off.

However Jase pointed out that their quality is very hit and miss and that they have decks with better quality too. I would just imagine that those decks are not a huge improvment, but that's just a guess.

As for this deck, boring and unimaginative design. That's all that matters to me, passing so wide that I ended on Vladivostok.

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

I actually don't mind the tuck or the back, hell I've never had a brown deck before and I think that's interesting, but the standard looking courts kill it for me.

I received my deck today. The tuck actually came out really nice with the embossing on it. I clipped his photo, which shows the tuck much better than I can photograph with the wrapper on.

For the back and the custom name, I ended up choosing "Darth Vader".

In the end, I like the deck and it makes, if nothing else, a novel addition.
