We don't often do tarot here but we do like weird and original so I thought some might find this interesting. It's an art deck so no expectation on the card quality. But worth checking out even if you don't support.

Looks good but not sure why closeups of cards are not shown. The journey is shared on fb page here, by the way.

Thanks for sharing @joeblow.

Hi everyone, team Sickly here
We really appreciate being mentioned here - thanks for finding us!

We have been in touch over our Kickstarter campaign which is now live, but would like to give everyone the same feedback!
Concerning the card quality, have no worries: Mrs. Sickly is a graphic designer and knew that while it would take time to find a good card stock that would work well under the shuffle and take on all that fine detail of the illustrations, we finally found it this past May. Prototyping the deck has been a real trip, and we are still getting used to the high card count ourselves - 109 cards!

... and thanks for the Input on more shots of the cards themselves! Working on this project for ten years has the side effect of blinders - forgetting that not everyone is familiar with the work yet! So, we have updated our "story" page of the campaign to include some more of every suit, including an original where you can really see where the cards come from.

We are at a quarter way to our goal now, but I know times are not getting easier: Please consider contributing to this deck or sharing the project around, these prices include shipping, and don't forget, 2 extra suits!

Thanks for sharing @joeblow and keep the feedback coming, we appreciate it

Posting some images for the curious. Lots of details on the project page.

There's also a Friday the 13th special with the early bird price.

Hi United Cardists, Team Sickly here again :)

Just nine days till Halloween, that is just nine days that remain on our Kickstarter campaign to have the Sickly Tarot professionally printed - glossy finish, rounded edges and all! This whole process has been such a rollercoaster ride, and coming into the last days with just barely enough to fund the printing alone – we need your help! We simply do not have the network, in Switzerland or online, to share this project on the scale we still need:

Maybe you know a friend that is a fan of geometric black and white illustration. Maybe you know a cardistry magician, or even just a friend of a friend - just putting the word out there on your favorite blog or Pinterest is a huge help!

Remember Kickstarter is “all or nothing”, so if we don’t get fully funded - you don’t get charged - win:win. Chances are also high that we will still be adding a "late bird" deal towards the end of the campaign - so it's worth your watch. If you are tired of the campaign link, maybe check out a youtube video or three: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gOM4y6eb5g" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or pick a card, any card on alpineruin.com and share your favourite around? The Kickstarter page is also full of updates which are more of a diary than just commemorative milestone posts - trick or treating starts here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/si ... ckly-tarot" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Much love from a valley in Switzerland, I hope you are all safe and warm.

Fred and Mrs. Sickly
