Totally unrelated but this scene from Family Guy popped to my head
Carry on

Left my heart in SIERRA MADRE

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can buy you a penguin. Have you ever met a sad person with a penguin?
Are lobsters mermaids to scorpions?

I doubt the creator has permission to use the likenesses of the people involved. Easy pass.

Ha! no worries. I take payment in the form of love and compliments. So I'll take it. Thank you!vedus wrote:I absolutely adore the concept of this deck and still feel not particular compulsion to back or own it.

You're very right. I haven't gotten the permission to use it. I'm only one woman doing it all on my own. So I can only put one leg in front of the other. I've spoken to four of the artists. And once All 4 decks are done (early next year). I'll start the process of trying to license the deck. TRYING. I had to shoot my shot, you only live once

You might find that if you cant licence the likenesses that you'd be required to not sell, or even destroy, anything you'd already produced - depending on how strongly any particular artist might wants to litigate. Some may demand a percentage of profits.
I would strongly advise knowing one way or another before going to print.
