Neon colors, love it. I'll be a backer for sure.
This looks differnt from your past projects but familiar, the courts look funny :D

Thirdway Industries wrote: Also green is very cool, and I'm going to use it on the faces.
How about a 3rd deck in green ? Limited like Suprema, Magnifica & Apeiron.

I would prefer crushed stock ;)

Bee Stock.
What's left of it.
Definitely Bee.
Oh yair, also ....
Full neon bodied full bleed back.
USPCC being absolutely the most useless effectors of the otherwise thinnest of borders everyone wants but knows are un-do-able.
You will end up with the normal fat failure they always deliver cos, excuses.
O, I beg of you your comprehensions,
yet laugh at your contempts ....
my only competition is with myselves.

But Lèse-majesté, especially >Normans, natch.

Is jarnstill the Ars of the Hors Nebulous ?
Neigh .... the Effluxor of the Omniverse ??

I miss the days when decks only came in pairs and not 3s or 5s or dozens of different colors and variations.
That said, because each of these two decks is different art, a third deck that somehow mixes them wouldn't be a terrible idea.

@Azid - the courts are very silly haha - and some have pets :P
I'm glad you like the new style.

About the 3rd deck--- I haven't revealed everything

@Bruno - thank you for the feedback - I know about Uspcc registration and Lunatica was designed to avoid the issue as most as possible (full bleed and courts perfectly inside the USPCC "safe area") .
Unfortunately every printer have their pros and cons - I hope that everything will go smooth whatever my printer choice will be

I don't know about other creators, but for myself, the reason that I like made more variations at once is that the production time is so long that is wise produce many decks in a row to avoid to wait ages just to have one design (of course I am talking about resonable variations, launch dozen color swaps is not my cup of tea).
Also, it's better because it allow me/backers to save a bit on shipping cost.

On the other side, launch a 3 decks project is complex as hell :-) That's the reason I sometimes launch single decks projects like Eva and Pantheon.

Regarding the matching edges of back/faces issue: Everyone always goes straight to white borders on the back, without even considering the obvious other solution: Make the faces' edges match the back design.

You're one of the few Gio, you put enough care into the variations that I'll always back yours.
I haven't been disappointed yet, and I didn't mean my comment as a slight, more like I'm translating my wallet sighing.

I wonder if the reason is that it creates a "sandwiched" appearance, like... neon back -- white stock -- neon front. Making it harder for magic since double lifts or whatever are more easily noticed. The future is in colored stock!

I usually look at that as a first option but to me, that wouldn't work with this deck. At least I don't think so... if anyone can pull something off it's Gio!
Also, please oh pretty please go with USPCC. That's one of my favorite parts of this deck.

@MagikFingerz - To be honest - I thought about that option almost immediatly, but it's too different than my starting idea - I wanted simple, white background cards for Lunatica. :-)
A "solid" (front&back) neon card would be cool, anyway. I might do it for this or on a future project...

@All - thank you for the feedbacks and the kind comments, I am really happy with them and are useful to decide what to do :)

Tomorrow is Lunatica day :-)

I will launch tomorrow because it's the autumnal equinox. I was thinking to posticipate the date due to delays on SINS and Eva shippings, but a lot of parcels has been shipped this week and I'm very positive that a lot of US backers will recieve their decks next week.

Some info on Lunatica:
luna1.jpg
luna1.jpg (99.1 KiB) Viewed 1556 times
Lunatica is my first 4-decks project: Lunatica Equinox, Lunatica Solstice, Lunatica Chimera and Lunatica Phoenix.
Chimera is the Limited Edition of Equinox and Phoenix the Limited Edition of Solstice.
luna2.jpg
luna2.jpg (163.71 KiB) Viewed 1556 times
As always, on Kickstarter everything will be cheaper than retail and there are a lot of early birds (mainly on the limited rewards, that include all decks available).
I am almost sure that you'll be able to get an early bird if you pledge tomorrow.

Here is a photo of some of the Pantone colors I'll use both on cards and on the unlimited editions tuck boxes:

I hope to see you there :-)

@Azid - Lunatica Chimera have the same cards of Lunatica Equinox, and Lunatica Phoenix have the same cards of Lunatica Solstice.
This is the first time I'm doing a project with just tuck swaps, but there is a specific reason I tried to do this: Lunatica is a project focused on cards, so I wanted the "standard" editions with simple tucks.....

...but I couldn't resist to made also a Limited Edition with a super tuckbox for collectors (that are, I think, my main audience).

There is also a nice backstory about the decks names

@JuFiN - Lunatica will be printed by USPCC - They did an awesome job on Eva and I am very happy with them. I also love they need just 3/4 months to print. ;)

Thank you for your comments, guys, I always appreciate it!

@portcullis - The limited edition will be printed on premium matte paper (blue and violet) with 2 different foil (holographic / green and holographic / orange).
There are other features that will be released (or unlocked as stretch goal) during the campaign. As I did with Eva, I'll do my best to make those awesome ;)

3 hours :P

Easy pass for me.

Same old same old from this creator. The last two designs look the same and I don't know where this creator believes his 24 deck bundle with 2 bonuses (usually a sticker or extra card) is worth $600 retail when the ltd decks are a tuck swap.

You may think your decks carry that kinda markup on the aftermarket but they don't. So to be posting what the retail value "would/could" be is a bit soft just to sell decks.

I'm sure this will fund like most of your 2 dimensional drawing decks do. Until you start creating something other then what I and others have watched for the last few years I won't be backing your decks anytime soon!

As I said, I had my pledge confirmed at 1 minute after launch and was #21. Beat my card collecting buddy tho, and that's all that matters 8-)

I nearly missed out as I had a meeting right when the campaign started. Anyway, I managed to snag one of the last earl bird sets I wanted, so all good for me. But, wow! That is awesome and thanks for the head's up here it was coming. Your stuff just gets sold out fast. I can't wait to learn about the stretch goals you have planned.

Wow, we're already funded, in around 2 hours from the launch!
I am always happy and impressed by my backers support, you guys rocks!

Now let's break some stretch goal :-)

@Cardician_82 - Well...I think that Lunatica is quite different than my other projects, for many reasons. Of course, my style is strong and recognizable, but I think it's a good thing.
There are a lot of artists if you wish a completely different style :) Anyways, thank you for sharing your thoughts!

@vedus - this was one of my main concerns about the 4 decks projects - I tried to keep the price balanced and give different options - but I understand your point. I won't make many 4-decks projects, anyway, I think the next one will be much easy, maybe just one deck (I haven't decided yet).

@Serubi - wow :D
It's really cool to see the #1 pledge :P

@portcullis - Thank you! Even #21 means you're there from the start, and it's awesome for me :)
