Nothing bothers me more when letters are used to depict courts. Laziest thing EVER. Why even make a deck??

This would be great if it had actual courts. I HATE when some think that using letters as courts is okay, it never is. But the background prints are pretty cool.

Nothing brings an Opera to my mind more than animal skin suit cards.

I've never felt so uncomfortable looking at a deck, like I accidentally walked into an ultra-vogue hair styling salon when I just needed a very short uniform haircut and everyone is staring at me.

That got oddly personal, lol anyway, do we have printer info? Are they using foil?
I tried to skim over the page but didn't catch any info like that.

Looks like the artists took the critiques concerning the court cards seriously which is cool. I still don't get what animal print has to do with "opera". Also I just can't get behind the ace of spades, it looks very... not good.

This is exactly what I thought, and the gold animal print looks really tacky IMO.

Having the background on the Jokers/back on the face cards as well would be much better.

Also, the word "opera" shouldn't be on the back design, and the fan rendering requires A LOT more effort than this...

Not to mention Index readability. Black and gold 2-A on black and gold background. :?

Definitely an improvement over the last edition, though still not great. The jokers are probably my favorite part about this deck, and I don't even use jokers that much

But when I decide to
1) get an ugly tiger print rug (or any animal print rug)
2) get a deck of playing cards to match that rug,
I'll be interested in this deck

I'm sure that we've all seen a lot of ugly decks in our lives...

This is just gross.
