Re: Vivaldi playing cards
Hi friends, a couple of images for you. As you may see, everything is very "preliminar" now. We have a promo image and some palette tests. Sofia Bolognesi is a very painstaking artist, and I don't want to rush things.
All I can say now is that our project "Pizza" will be ready before "Vivaldi" (wait, do you already know about Pizza, am I right?)

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
This is one deck I've been keeping an eye out for as well. I hope the back design is as exquisite as the courts. I'm hoping you can provide an update on this project since its been half a year since we've heard or seen anything.

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
Early artwork looks great.
As a neoclassical-trained guitarist, pianist, and violinist, I am definitely interested in this deck.
Vivaldi was a genius.

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
Thank you guys, I will explain a little bit further, the artist working at the decks is very scrupulous, she usually increment the design every time, it's hard to say when it's finished. BTW she is also quite sensible to what is shared on the social media, so I don't want to post anything that has not been reviewd by her.
Anyway, the four queens of the first deck are "almost ready". The back and the box is also at a good point.
Thanks for your patience there is another image on our social media, but it's still a WIP.

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
I'd love to see this deck have 4 different colors for each of the suits and seasons.
Green = Spring = Clubs
Yellow = Summer = Spades
Orange/Red = Autumn = Hearts
Blue = Winter = Diamonds
Can we get peek at the back design?

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
I have to disagree with you there. I only like decks that have 2 color suits. It's not a deal breaker for me but I don't prefer it.alric wrote:I'd love to see this deck have 4 different colors for each of the suits and seasons.

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
I actually think it would be cool to do this (sorry, Paul), doing so would make the deck into a No Revoke deck.alric wrote:I'd love to see this deck have 4 different colors for each of the suits and seasons.

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
Generally, I prefer decks with only 2 color suits because it it helps with game play. But if a deck executes 4 color suits in a tasteful manner, then I don't mind it. In this particular instance, I think 4 separate colored suits fit in well with the 4 Seasons theme.vasta41 wrote:I have to disagree with you there. I only like decks that have 2 color suits. Re: Vivaldi playing cards
I also prefer decks sticking to 2-colors, but sometimes 4 can work. IMO you need to keep the classic black and red. I would prefer blue and gold-yellow if expanding to 4 suit colors.

Re: Vivaldi playing cards
I dislike 4-color decks that have the most diverse colors possible, but I could see it working for this deck if done well.
In my head I'm imagining something like red and orange for diamonds/spring and hearts/summer, and perhaps a dark blue for clubs/autumn and black (maybe with some white snow) for spades/winter. I have no idea if it'll work, though.
