1. Love the idea
2. Hate the design

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

Hideous design launching too late in the season makes me think this was very much an after thought thrown together.

The special gilding makes the cost to prohibitive for most backers and is unnecessary as there is already enough color as it is. Also the gilding looks like tie dye and not pride related.

I think the issue here is that the rendering is not showing or is close enough to the true representation of gilded cards. I recently looked into different foils for gilding while zeroing down to holographic one, and can say that this rainbow colored one will look very good on this deck.

Cost is a different factor - backers on Kickstarter have been pledging for gilded and costly decks with the likes of Bicycle Prism gilded deck etc. which was priced too high than this, but it still surpassed funding goal easily.

True but that deck was a first of it's kind gilding and also the tuck was special. This deck just seems a bit cheesy to me with the color scheme it has.
