I have to say I don't hate this. The AoS is very reminiscent of a T11 design which isn't a bad thing. I'm not sure how I feel about the color choice. I think a red and blue deck should be offered and I think the pip colors should be standard (red and black). But my main critique of this deck is the ironic "less is more" logo in the corner of the courts. Something else or nothing else should be there- adding it really contradicts the theme of this deck and is unnecessary IMO.

I like the design, the AoS reminds me of T11 too. I'm not too fond of the golden deck though, and I don't want to pledge for a brick of the golden one just to get a red one (don't like that concept anyway).
I also don't like the color scheme of the tuck back being different from the actual card back. IMO it should be only white/red, white/gold on the card backs.

This is not horrible. But it's not good either by any means. Bland, boring, not good enough nowadays.

"Less is more" ..... I have not seen a single playing card design where that is true. Minimalism and not going over the top is a good choise when you design interior of your house or when you design a car. I don't think that it is ever a good option when you are designing playing cards.

I dream of a world where wars are fought only by having dance offs. I also dream that a Finnish playing card designer would exist. The former seems more likely to happend.

He should put the pip back in the corner and if he needs to have it, a small circular wording of "less is more" in the court center.

The back, I can live with the black, but why have "Essentials" so small?

Asking for $25,000 PLUS $9 shipping for every country on every tier is never going happen. Too bad too because I think he has some decent elements that could be worked with.
Move on, nothing to see here.

I agree these aren't bad but he's also not showing us very many cards and no jokers. But the goal of $25,000 is not going to be achievable with this project. It seems difficult later for many creators to reach $25,000 for really good decks. Also not sure how he came up with that goal. I'm also bothered just a bit by it being a first time creator who looks pretty young and who's collaborator seems to have no experience in cards either.

I hate gold back cards. I like simple and I'm a big fan of what's been shown of the red, but there's no way I'd buy a dozen decks of something I hate for one of something else I enjoy.
