Appreciate it! I personally love the design and artwork that went into this. I'm a fan of animals and wildlife and the cards resonated with me which is why I took on the project with Ben.Räpylätassu wrote:The more I look at this, the more I start to like this. Holy hell I like that back.

I hope that you could tell him to join us here The artwork really is splendid, this is a serious contender to the Rookie deck of the year IMO. Also I said I like the back already but the pips as well really caught my eye.MattRPC wrote:Appreciate it! I personally love the design and artwork that went into this. Agreed (and here are my reasons why).max wrote:In my humble opinion, this is the perfect example of what makes me so confused in Kickstarter. I respect everyone's taste but I cannot understand why such a nice deck, with such a good and careful design job is being funded so slowly. I think it deserves to be funded.
I think one of the major reasons that good decks don't get funded has to do with marketing. These days you don't just need a high quality deck in order to succeed, but you need to find ways to get the word out with positive exposure, especially since there are so many projects competing for attention. The world of custom playing cards is becoming a crowded field, and you need to make your product stand out and get noticed with reviews and more.
Matt has also done a good job with some of the recent updates and ideas, which all help increase the appeal of this project. I'm pleased to see that it's now less than $1000 away from being funded, which is fantastic, and much deserved!

Congratulations, Matt - that's fantastic! I'm very pleased for both you and artist Ben that the funding goal has been reached.

Re: GAIA Playing Cards - Live on KS
I've been looking at this deck every day for 3 weeks. It just isn't "my style".
HOWEVER...
The artwork is so tremendous that I had to pledge for a full set of the court prints. And I would be missing out if I didn't get a couple of each deck, too.

Re: GAIA Playing Cards - Live on KS
Appreciate the support everyone! I'm very excited for this deck to be made.
We're only $362 away from the first stretch goal of printed tuck box interiors!
Also there are only 100 of the Kickstarter exclusive sealed version Moonlight Edition decks left so last call if you would like to pick one up

Re: GAIA Playing Cards - Live on KS
Is there any plans to allow (standard) deck add-ons? (Unless I'm missing something, it only appears to be for coins, prints and uncuts).
For one, I'm more interested in the standard decks, but the pledge levels are either half std/half moonlight editions or all std editions.

I am really happy this deck has recovered what, in my opinion, it deserves. I showed my disappointment at the beginning because of the slow progress but I am much happier now
