Hey, not sure why that's come up as not sending to the United States. If you bid, I can assure you that I'm happy to send items to USA, I've done so in the past many times.

Hi Guys,

Just an update. A couple people have tried to bid on the items but we're unsuccessful as it blocks them out.

Due to a history of selling products on eBay, I've unfortunately encountered a fair few time wasters and scammers, therefore I have placed some restrictions on my items for who can bid.

If you find yourself unable to bid, it's mainly due to the restrictions. I appreciate a majority won't fit the bill, but I can't take the risk again. Hope you all understand.

And just to reiterate, if you're able to bid and it states "seller may not ship to X country", you are more than welcome to place a bid and then send a message and I will generate a quote for you.

It doesn't allow you to bid at all. It tells me you can't ship to US when I try to bid and stops the bid from going through.

I wonder exactly what the restrictions might be, as I have a quite long history at eBay with high and entirely unimpeachable feedback.

Hey, thanks for asking. The following are the restrictions that I have placed:

Don't have a PayPal account
Have received 3 unpaid item case(s) within 12 month(s)
Have 4 policy violation report(s) within 1 month(s)
Have a Feedback score equal to or lower than -1
Have a Feedback score of 5 or lower and no credit card on file
Have bid on or bought my items in the last 10 days and have met my limit of 10 and who have a Feedback score of 5 or lower

If none of the above apply to you, or anyone for that matter, please contact me directly and let me know. If it's some sort of fault, I'll contact ebay direct to see what the situation is.

nur1988, you need to set postage to the US before a US account can place a bid. There is no postage listed for US residents.

eBay basically confirmed that to me just now via chat: the items as listed can't be bid on by any US accounts -- and everybody knows the USA is where the loose-wallet card kooks are!

That's not entirely true. a revised invoice can be sent at the end of auction to include international postage. I've done so before on many occasions. Buyers should still be able to bid as it is not restricted to any particular country.

EDIT: i spoke to ebay again and they stated that international bidders should be able to bid. maybe it's because I posted the .co.uk site.
